who can resist perfectly cooked ribs?! tried their sweet potato chips and their mushroom sauce and it was the best. definitely worth spending your cash here. really good food and you get to dine with a view of sydneys harbour

I love Hurricane's Grill for the pork ribs, this is literally the only thing that order when I visit. The pork ribs are generous in portion and so delicious that the meat falls off the bone when you slice it off, the pork meat is also so tender. This branch of Hurricanes is my favourite because of the beautiful view of Darling Harbour. The service is really attentive.

Absolutely love the ribs here both the beef and the classic pork. Amazing view although you definitely need to book before you come due to its popularity. Starters are also great especially the chicken wings and garlic prawns. Definitely recommend.

The restaurant offers a nice harbour view if you book or come early and get a good seats by the windows. But it gets noisy once it's full, and it's usually hard to get a seat on the weekends.
It offers great varieties of ribs, steaks and seafood. I know most of people reckon the ribs are the star of Hurricane but I highly recommend the steak (my fav is T-Bone).

You can get a great view, great ribs, great service and great cocktails/mocktails here. The prices are reasonable for the area and experience but it's more of a date spot than family dining. It can get loud with how popular it is so you can only here people around you anyway.
Booking is almost always necessary with its popularity.

I have been in this restaurant many times, really good especially the pork ribs was really amazing and the mocktail was nice too . the portion is quite good. This restaurant is really busy especially in the weeekend. need to book in advance if you don't like to wait. Will definitely go back again, highly recommended

Good place, but prices are a bit too high. They started in Bondi Beach a while ago and it was really affordable with great taste. Taste remains the same, prices almost doubled.
Also it can be really noisy especially on weekends.

Wife has always wanted to go to Hurricane's Grill. Opportunity came when we went to the Star Casino for a look-see. Nothing worth eating for lunch there so we walked to Darling Harbour for lunch.
This was on the Australia Day public holiday Monday. Walked in - no reservation & got a table easy. Wait Staff were great, explained the specials & how everything worked.
Got the Beef & Pork Ribs & a rocket salad (plus a beer & Wife got a cocktail).
Absolutely delicious. They actually inspired me to try and bbq some beef ribs again (they are not too bad either).
Will probably try the North Ryde restaurant next time as its closer but recommend the Darling Harbour restaurant. View was great as well.

Situated on the second floor of the Darling Harbour shopping complex, this place always seems busy. The food is great. However, it's a little pricey ($45 for a rack of ribs and $33 for a 350gm rump steak is a little over the top).

Favourite place to have ribs in sydney (currently) hopefully i can find a cheaper place, as the prices here are crazy! You have to wait forever to get a table so make sure you book or that your not hungry when you put your name down. or get there really early like when the door opens.

I have been to all the Hurricane locations. We ordered the pork ribs as an entree to share and they were to die for. So succulent and tasty.
This place never fails to delight the taste buds. I just wish you could always get a table and the place was less noisy.
Also it would be great if it was less expensive.

Very nice restaurant but it is super busy. need to make a booking before especially weekend. The ribs and steak here is really nice but I don't really like the restaurant theme is too loud for me. But Overall I would recommend it if you are going for a good food.

My friend told me that this is really great and if I don't try I will regret, but from my experience is, well, there is nothing to complaint about the food, but really not a wow for me. Price is acceptable for really not deserve the price they charged. But staffs there are very friendly.

We went there for lunch from work and it was a good experience. They accommodate a table for 20+ people and the service was good. I have pork ribs and they were just nice. It was juicy and tasty. I loved my dessert too. Everyone was happy with their food and drink.

OH Why didn't I read these reviews before I went there. My boss had his wife make the booking so I haven't had a chance to talk to her about how that went. It was 30 minutes before our drink orders were taken and then a further 30 till our orders were taken. The waitress seemed distracted and didn't even look at us while she was talking. I had a really juicy and perfectly cooked steak,eventually. They definitely need to do something about the serviced, though. 3 1/2 hours for drinks and a main course!!! I am NOT going back.

This is a busy and expensive restaurant. but worth to have a try. food are always taste and fresh. because they too busy so sometime there is service problem.

Went to Hurricane at Harbourside for a friend's birthday. Booking has been made but we still had to wait in which you could wait at the bar area beforehand. Great and lively atmosphere at night overlooking the Darling Harbour. I ordered a full rack pork ribs in BBQ sauce (which comes with chips) and a salad to share.The size of the full rack is really huge which can be shared between 2 girls. The ribs were so delicious and tasty that we had to lick every rib bone. Service was great and the staff were really nice and friendly. A friend who doesn't drink alcohol wasn't sure what to order, so the waitstaff actually recommended a mocktail which wasn't on the menu. We will be back.

This place has delicious ribs drenched in sauce that are cooked to near perfection. The steak on the other hand is a bit of a disappointment, a little dry and not as tasty. The prices are what you'd expect for a big restaurant in the city with great harbour views. If you choose to dine here, be sure to make a booking a few days early if you're thinking of a Friday or Saturday night because it can get packed.

Took overseas visitors to Bondi shop - all loved it. 4 yrs on, they still talk about it! Not sure how they do the ribs, no doubt they are the BEST. If we think of ribs, that's the place we will go. Glad that they opened up in Top Ryde Shopping Centre.

About 4 months ago I was in Sydney for a getaway. Staying on Darling Harbour, Hurricanes seemed like an ideal place for a big meal. Although the prices were pretty high, the outcome was worth every cent. A huge piece of amazing steak, with a generous side of chips and salad. Was one of the highlights of my entire trip! I left about 2kg heavier!

I tried both Hurricane`s restaurant (Bondi and Darling Harbour) and i`m not quite satisfied to be honest. Yes they have decent steaks, ribs and burger but are not outstanding. There are so many places better then that. All the times that i`ve been there my steaks were overcooked and way too much basting. It almost make disappear the taste of the beef (witch for the price I expected much more). And considering that every time it needed 1 hour wait to be seated, I`ll never go back again.

I love ribs, and have tried ribs at so many places but always disappointed until I came accross hurricane while on holiday in Sydney. This place serves the most amazing ribs I've ever tasted. The meat is so tender and juicy. The sauce is so rich in flavours.

Eveyone loves Hurricanes. First time I have been asked how I want my burger cooked. Menu is Meat Meat Meat :) Rubs Yum

This is a great place to enjoy your night with friends or your loved one. I tried the pork ribs twice, and I am still urge to go there again. You can order steaks, ribs, pizzas, wines and so on. Price is a little bit higher but it is worth to try at least once. Cheers =)

One of the best place for ribs. The Hurricane Grills located at the harbourside provides a good view especially at night and nice outdoor seats. Wait is not as long as the one at Bondi Beach and quality is very well maintained. A place where I bring my friends every time they visit.

Great view, awesome food and excellent people. I was so tempted to give them 4 overall stars due to their value, but I decided not to as my experiences in the past have dictated otherwise.

A little pricey but I love taking my mum out for dinner here. Considering of taking her here if I can get a table booked for mother's day. Fingers crossed.

Whether you're living in Sydney or just visiting, you definitely HAVE to try this one. Located conveniently at Darling Harbour with excellent ambience, this restaurant serves the best ribs in Sydney IMO. Prices are on the high side, but drop by with a group of friends, split the bill and you'll find that the food here is worth every single cent. They always seemed to be packed though (for good reason!), so be sure to make a reservation or arrive early to avoid the queue.
