The idea of the iKea restaurant is great. Nice cheap food and refillable drinks. Cant complain about $6 schnitzels and $2 breakfast on weekends. Very relaxed restaurant and shopping complex. No pressure from the sales guys. Although the price may have dropped a little, but so has the quality, pity most of the items are main in China now.

It is easy to become overwhelmed on entering an IKEA store...the vast array of products is amazing. That said, the products are of a reasonable quality, but nothing to write home about. They have a great food hall, which also provides nifty little cordoned off areas for feeding bubs. Overall, it makes for an entertaining afternoon out.

Went to return 2 rugs and get a refund or store note. We were very pleased to find that we didn't need to explain or write up a big form. It was done very quickly and the refund was placed onto a store gift voucher, all done within 2-3 minutes. The service from the service desk\refunds was quick and we didn't have to wait long at all. It was a busy day and was nicely surprised we didn't have to spend ages there.

Really don't like Swedish mind control at work, follow the maze and look at all the crap, I wanted out, because I was stressed in relation to my flight. Let me out!

I have heard so much about IKEA and until recently, I have never been. When I arrived I was WOWed at the size of the place. The displays are amazing and give you a real feel for what your home could look like with particular items. The furniture, despite being flat-pack, is surprising of great quality and the products that interested us appeared to be of great value.

The cabinets we bought look great, but were fairly complicated to put together. Very happy with the outcome.

Started off with having Swedish meat balls at the restraunt area, yum. Visited the childrens area for soft toys and picked up a couple of kitchen items which were great prices actually. I don't like how you have to walk through the whole store to exit, you can never find any help and when you do they look like they want to escape from you and the checkout lines are always there but otherwise it is alright.

Approximate cost: $130

IKEA is 2 levels of lots of kit packed furniture. There is kitchen ideas, mock bedrooms, and loads of every day stuff for around the home. Upstairs is also a cafe area that sells bottomless soft drink and coffee. Dirt cheap food from 2:30 pm fresh until 5:30 pm most days. The cafe is open all day from early in the morning. Be warned its a long walk around to the check outs when purchasing stuff from upstairs.

It's easy to find what I want when I'm there. Occasionally they have really good bargains for old catalog items. Didn't like their coffee though. Not sure if that's how Swedish coffee taste like but it's not worth the money.

I'm just reviewing the restaurant part. Tuesday is half price meatballs with chips, $3.50 is a very cheap lunch! The place is very children friendly, with feeding stations, high chairs, play area, mini trolleys, etc. You have to put your own dishes away, which is partly why the prices are low. I recommend this for a quick and cheap lunch, especially if you have kids!
