A great place to buy in bulk, which we often do when commuting between Hobart and Launceston, the prices are fantastic, sometimes fruit with have markings but it doesn't affect the taste.

This market has good prices on fruit and vegetables (particularly in bulk). A nice range too, full of Tassie produce. Very cheap, but you pay for what you get and sometimes the quality is a little questionable. However, the prices have gone up a bit due to people stealing from the store. They also have a fish section, even tanks with live fish. Despite this, the fish is not fresh and that is really disappointing.

this is a small indoor market not bad for a morning out sometimes stalls inside are closed they do constantly change so there is always something new open fri sat sun they also have a fresh produce store which has cheap meat but good quality

The Island Markets host a full second hand market on Sundays, Thursday - Sunday however they operate as a discount Fruit, Vege and Grocery store. Prices are cheap, although not exactly high quality. I've spotted a couple of moldy tomatoes ther before.. But you get what you pay for. They also have a seafood section there, which you can really smell. Cheap! But breath through your mouth!

I do shop there regularly. They have a good choice of fruits and vegetables at reasonable prices.

The Island Markets in Moonah offer a great range of fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and seafood. The prices on meat are really cheap. There is also a clothing liquidation hall, where you can pick up some great bargains. If you want fruit and vegies, especially the specials, it is best to go on Thursday or Friday as they can sell out quickly. There is plenty of parking and a variety of stalls and Island Markets are definitely worth checking out.
