This is my second time at JG beauty. The services are excellent. Threading is less painful than any other places in Melbourne. You're well looked after and Judy is an amazing beautician. She's very patient with me and am very satisfied customer :)

I've had my eyebrows threaded at many other places but this is by far the best I've had. Judy is extremely skilled and fast! When I had my eyebrows done by therapists at other salons, it was always quite painful. Judy is very gentle and it's over in a flash. I'm a new loyal customer.

Attended JG Beauty with a coupon.....the experience was fantastic. Patricia was very professional,relaxed and personable.The massage was exactly the pressure I requested.The facial was great. The manicure was lovely with lots of attention to detail ,with a perfect finish on the polish,which lasted for days.I recommend her services highly.

I went here with a scoopon voucher and had one of the best experiences at a salon. usually i'm made to feel less valued as a customer when i have voucher but they treated me as a regular customer. i was offered, but not pushed into additional services [EYEBROW THREADING IS FANTASTIC HERE YOU NEED TO TRY IT IF YOU HAVENT ALREADY]
patricia has an amazing talent for her facials and massages and is so soothing and professional.
the manager/owner (i didnt get her name) is so skilled in eyebrow threading and makes suggestions to improve your shape (i got a tint which made such a great difference)
everything they do here is professional and of high quality.
while i was there they were dealing with a difficult customer and the way they handled the situation was also impressive.
i will reccommend JG Beauty to anyone who will listen

I get my eyebrows threaded regularly here and it has always been a pleasant experience. I much prefer threading to waxing and Judy is very good at eyebrow threading, which can be tricky! My eyebrows are two different shapes and somehow Judy manages to make them look even and exactly the way I like them to look.
I haven't tried their other services, but I highly recommend for eyebrow threading.

I knew about this salon from a voucher deal I got last year to get my facial, massage, nails and eyebrow threading done. I am now a regular client and always get my eyebrows done by the owner as she's the only person that can shape them perfectly!!

As for the other treatments, facial products were really lovely, massage was good, nail polish lasted long. And the lady who did me was attentive and friendly.

The only downside is that they rarely pick up the phone because they're so busy. But as long as I leave a voice message, they will call me back at the end of the day.

So overall I would rate them 8/10 for their services and friendly environment.

My experience was embarrassing. I had a voucher to use and it took several phone calls and emails to eventually get an appointment with no phone call ever returned or message acknowledged. I arrived at my scheduled appointment time 5mins prior only to be told they had double booked the timeslot and I would have to come back another day in 5 weeks time due to appointments being taken due to an oversupply of vouchers issued without any capacity to fill the customer voucher in the expiry timeframe. The service was sloppy and unprofessional with "salon" quality - appointments didn't reach specified time e.g 1hr massage went for 40mins, manicure was messy with cuticles painted and no tidy up. I wouldn't recommend which is a shame as Kew could do with a great beauty salon in High Street.

Good skin care range, excellent eye brow threading, massage and facial very relaxing indeed! Ashley was very attentive and calm, overall good value.

I went to JG Beauty as I had a voucher to use from there which included a 1 hour massage, 30 minute facial and a pedicure. I'm sorry I couldn't rate this salon higher, as my therapist was a lovely person, however my 1 hour massage only lasted about 30 mins and the therapist had very little strength in her hands and I felt more like I was being pushed around than actually massaged. The facial was pleasant enough, however certainly not the best I've experienced. The pedicure was quite good though and quite thoroughly done. This isn't somewhere I would bother returning to and I wouldn't recommend it unless you were going to get a pedicure done.
