Wonderful, fresh seafood-excellent touch as it is near the seaside. Very friendly staff, constantly asking we if needed anything else. Large servings and beautiful atmosphere!

Eaten here a couple of times and been pleasantly surprised. For some inexplicable reason walked past many times before trying but the service was great and the food was also. Seafood was fresh and tasty. Will be back.

This has become a fast favourite for me. The quality of the food is very, very good. They had gorgeous little red roses in coke bottles in the middle of the table – a nice vintage touch. The décor is quaint, and it is very nice to sit along the window seats and enjoy the fresh Glenelg air.

It's on Jetty Road, and has a few other fish and chip places for competition. If you want to eat at a restaurant and have the atmosphere, go to this place. The food is good. However, it is not the cheapest, and you can go get take-away at another place nearby and save some money. As I said, though, if you like 'dining out', come here and order a nice white wine with your meal.

Jacks Fish (as the name suggests) has a rather large selection of seafood dishes all at reasonable prices. Although it was quite tasty, the chips were slightly soggy and the fish still had quite a few bones, this on two separate occasions eating there. If you're not too concerned with picking out the occasional bone, then the flavours all there, but if you're like me and really don't like bony fish, it would probably be better to go somewhere else.

The service is very prompt and friendly upon arrival and is consistant throughout the course of the visit. I like the fact that all the seafood on offer has the option of fried, crumbed or grilled and they have the best garlic bread ever! Their light lunch specials are really good too and resonably priced.
