The service was really nice and I felt like it’s exactly what Mum would have wanted. She would have appreciated Jacqui's sense of humour for sure! There was a lot to bring together in a short amount of time but Jacqui did a great job and my family are all very grateful for how it turned out.

We could not have hoped for a better celebrant than Jacqui to farewell our mum. People at the service thought we had known her forever! Jacqui was so accomodating, friendly, personable and just had a beautiful way with everyone.

We were completely happy with the service for Mum. Jacqui was very flexible and allowed us to craft the service in a way that suited us. As she said, she was not precious about her own words, and wanted to make it all about how we wanted it. Her delivery was natural and relaxed, with moments of humour where appropriate. We would thoroughly recommend.

What a lovely , kind, thoughtful lady Jacqui is. We appreciated all the effort and support she gave us as a family and how she conducted a difficult at times service. We were very happy with how the service went and I’m sure Mum would have appreciated the kindness and humour shown before and during her service. With heartfelt thanks Jacqui.

We could not have asked for a better service made possible with the assistance of Jacqui Chaplin. Jacqui was so empathetic and immersed herself into mums life story so that we could all feel comfortable knowing she would bring the right ‘vibe’ to the service. My sister Jenny and I felt an immediate connection with Jacqui when we met with her. We were able to celebrate mum’s life in a really beautiful way and everyone left feeling that we had honoured her.

Jacqui is an approachable, empathetic celebrant who has the capacity to truly engage with and understand the needs of her clients. The funeral service that she provided was beautiful and was positively remarked upon by family and friends and the commemorative booklet of the service that was provided afterwards was an unexpected surprise but much appreciated.

Jacqui was recommended to us by our Tobin Bros Funeral Planner and my brother and I were so pleased for that advice. From our first meeting via Zoom (covid lockdown necessity) to her input and guidance in the planning process and then her celebrant services on the day, we were impressed with Jacqui's professionalism, warmth and sensitivity. She has a genuine empathic interest in the person who has passed and her service then seeks to honour that person's individuality and life.

Our Mum’s memorial service was personal and inclusive. In an obviously difficult time, Jacqui was a wonderful support and advisor. Her experience, knowledge, organisation, suggestions and attention to detail were all much appreciated. She was also very willing to patiently accommodate our family’s needs, conveying a sense of reliability and empathy throughout. The service itself was marked by her care, compassion and appropriately wise words. The simple booklet commemorating our Mum’s service was a final welcome touch.

I am sorry it has taken this long to get back to you, but the organising of Bryan's estate and clearing his rental property has been very time consuming.
I just want to say thank you for the way you conducted Bryan's funeral service in March, especially your determination to get the Maori words right for my family in New zealand.
The feedback we have received has been very positive about your contribution, the NZ family contribution and the lovely video tribute produced by our daughter-in-law, Anne. Everyone who watched, and there were a few, informed us it was so Bryan from the reflections we gave.
I know, although Bryan was a "no-fuss" kind of person, he would have been pleased with what we organised, well except the photo of him in the bath as a child with his cousin, that is.

We can't speak highly enough of Jacqui from the first meeting to the beautiful service she conducted for our sister Cath. It was not a completely conventional funeral service and Jacquie allowed us to express our feelings in an informal manner which is exactly what we wanted for our send off for Cath.
