Amazing quality steaks and the chef know's how to cook it to perfection, Often when I ask for medium rare I recieve medium but I was pleasantly surprised with the steak. The prices are what you would expect from a steak house. The venue is slightly noisy during busy meal times so not ideal for an intimate dinner but would happily dine here again

An awesome steak house located in a historic building in Launceston the meals are superb the steaks were cooked to absolute perfection and the meals were of decent sizes and for a reasonable price and with local beers on tap it's was great

We enjoyed a great meal here whilst on our visit to Tasmania. The staff were very accommodating for my dietary requirements with no hesitation. Very friendly and very efficient. Great range of foods at the salad bar - could have been labelled a bit more clearly. Loved the atmosphere of the place. The food was deliciuos too! Would definetly go back again.

This is not the most convenient place to obtain parking but the steak is well worth the asking price. The customer service skills are average to low.

We went here one night with friends & although i've only been once i cant wait to go back. They do a delicious scotch fillet steak with vegetable or chips & salad. The service was good & the atmosphere was relaxed

we had a night out at jailhouse grill, and were not disappointed it was a fabulous meal the charcoal fired grill was worth going there for. the main meals range from $20 to$26 dollars. they are fully licensed open from 5/45pm it was a very enjoyable night. staff premises were clean

A group of us went here for our christmas dinner last year and was very disappointed in it. The meals were expensive and werent very nice. I had what was suppose to be a medium scotch fillet steak which come out very well done and was very tough. I think the waiting time for our meal was excessive. The salad bar was probably the best thing in there.
As for the staff i found them to be rude and unfriendly. I did not see a smile on any one of their faces all night. We were made to feel like we were not welcome there. Would definitely not eat here again

A great steakhouse - good for large groups. Their steaks are superb, and they have a large self serve salad bar, with a wide variety of salads, including warm vegetable pasta dishes. Great place on a cold night. Always very popular, so make sure to book before you go.

Went here recently with a group of people and loved it, the food the steak was great had a fantastic night, great service would recommend this to everyone!!!

I didn't find a great deal of the meals on the menu appealing though what i did have was very nice. What i loved was that the "self serve" salad bar, had things such as warm pasta and vegetables, which was great to start on while waiting for the meals.
