Jam 4012 is amazing. The food is great quality and so tasty. The staff are always friendly and extremely efficient. My only complaint us the price. If it were a little cheaper I could go there more often.

Approximate cost: $30

I went there with my husband and our 8 month baby on a Saturday morning - not a good idea. Somehow they seem very busy but I'm not sure it's due to not enough stuff or lack of organising or efficiency as there are empty tables but no one serving. Then once you get a seat, back in queue for ordering. Small spaces for prams. Food is ok but they overcharged us. They didn't give us money back but instead offered an oral credit for our next bill. Next time, no way, I'll never go back. Don't like the service and their " we are busy enough, so we don't care lose you as a customer attitude"

Thanks I will remember to not go on a saturday if at all. Other reviews seem great but I hate getting they "we don't care to lose your business" atittude as they could have had a regular customer and one who told everyone they knew about the place. I hate hearing of people like yourself and me getting treated differently at certain businesses.

Jam is a great café - customers are always given a warm welcome by the staff who also make sure children feel welcome too - colouring pages and pencils are brought over as soon as you sit down to keep the small ones entertained. The menu isn't huge but varied enough to provide at least a couple of choices and is well-priced - the veggie stack and steak sandwich are my recommendations. The recent expansion is a great addition and gives the place a modern, cosmopolitan feel though you may still wait for a table on Saturday mornings.

I noticed the expansion too and felt it was a great idea and I may check them out when i'm out this way next.

One of our regular breakfast places, Jam never disappoints, with fantastic food (they do great lunches as well). There is always a queue to get in, but now they have expanded, you never wait long. Great coffee and food and you MUST try the banana nut smoothie!

Great food (esp breakie) and good coffee. Be prepared to be moved from your table once your have eaten (when the cafe is busy) to the seats without tables so more customers can eat. You will get a free coffee thought for the inconvenience. I noticed other reviews of the owner and I agree. My friend and I have been swore at as well by the owner as we asked for change.
Interestingly - on another visit - my husband ordered a coffee from him, and when we questioned where it was as it didn't arrive - he asked who we ordered it from. When we told him it was him - he became our best friend......

Approximate cost: $15

I've only had coffee here and it was served promptly and price was fairly comparable to other cafes in the area. The location can be noisy (due to being on a main road) so i've always had take away coffees.

If you are a pram user, may I strongly suggest you avoid Jam Cafe at Nundah QLD. The cafe is not welcoming to parents with bubs in prams. I wanted a quick cup of coffee and had my one year old son with me in his small umbrella style stroller. I sat at the only roomy available table inside undercover. I began feeding my child a banana. After a couple of minutes, the owner told me I needed to move my pram across the table or sit outside (in direct sunlight) as he didn't want to spill hot beverage on my child. I squeezed the stroller flush to the side of the table and could move no closer. I am not sure how he was expecting me to feed my child seated in his stroller across the opposite end of the table. I can assure you there was more than enough space to walk past without spilling hot beverage on my child. Alternatively he could have just walked round the other tables. Why put a table there if you don't want anyone to sit there? Neither was I going to risk my child of sitting in the blazing sun at the risk of getting sunburnt. The owner came back and said rudely "So, what do you want to do???". I told him he was absolutely unreasonable and it was impossible to feed my child across the length of the table. I said forget about the coffee and walked out. I wasn't going to waste my money at a place which was so unwelcoming and unfriendly. I was totally humiliated and felt absolutely discriminated against as a parent. All I wanted was a quick humble cuppa. An elderly couple waiting outside for their coffee gave me the thumbs as I walked out. I'm pretty sure they won't be back there too. I certainly will not ever be wasting my money there and encourage everyone to do the same. Having a few Ikea highchairs does not make you a child friendly place, it's how you treat your customers. Apparently I'm not the first victim too.

I've noticed from other reviews you aren't the first victim and they don't appear to be child friendly with prams or small babies, thanks for your review.

The food is always reasonable for the price and usually is served pretty promptly. The service has always been a little poor which was excusable given the food and prices. They have a one bill per table policy which is ok but they are so inflexible they are 'not allowed' to change bills for customers to make their 'one bill per table' policy workable. Unfortunately our last visit saw the owner swearing at customers and horrendous service which means we will never go back! I wouldn't recommend Jam unless you are up to the owner swearing at you or your fellow diners!

I'm glad I'm not the only one finding this place shocking!

Yes, they are always busy... this is probably due to the sheer popularity of this cafe. Their location, quality of food and service and general great feel of this cafe make Jam 4012 a great place to meet up with friends and have a great meal or maybe just a coffee.

Approximate cost: $18.00
