Compared to other fish and chip shops in the area this one is great. Very clean store, friendly service. A little expensive, but seems to be the average price these days for fish n chips. Fish was nice, obviously had been frozen which is to be expected, but still fresh. Chips were nice, thick cut and didnt taste like the oil was old. Seemed to be vegetable oil too, which is great. Will be going here from now on instead of wishart seafood on mt gravatt capalaba rd.

If you like camping with a beautiful view and dont mind roughing it then beach camping is the place for you!!! We found it incredibly relaxing, especially sitting around the fire at night. You MUST have a 4wd to camp here, it is not accessible by car. Downside is there are NO facilities at camp sites, the closest are located at freshwater camping grounds up the beach (roughly 10 min drive). The sand does get annoying so try to find a solid grassy spot. For us it was a been there done that trip. Good 4wd tracks. Ice trucks drive past at peak times, and sometimes icecream trucks.

Great place for camping for all ages. Plenty of spots near the water, lots of trees and wildlife. Can swim in the dam, fish, lobster pot, boating. There are also powered sites and cabins. They have strict noise rules, which are enforced during peak times which suits as as we go there to relax. Possums visit our campsite at night and are quite friendly, but also like to sticky beak so keep tent closed! Amenities are kept clean (cleaned daily). Hot showers are free. It gets very hot and humid in summer. Very cheap camping rates.

So glad there is finally a cheaper option for coffee at the PAH since starbucks opened. Really great coffee and very affordable. Only $4 for a huge cup! Variety of flavoured syrups to choose from, and you can also choose from skim, semi skim, and full cream milk (and soy). Always friendly service too, very convenient opening hours, especially when you are at the hospital for an early appointment.

Prices seem to be going up regularly since the cafeteria was moved. Sandwiches have a 2-3 day shelf life, when they used to only be sold fresh on the day. Biscuits and snacks are overpriced. Theres not even half the customers buying from there than what there was at the old cafeteria. Its such a shame they got rid of the sandwich bar, it was very popular and at least it was made in front of you. The foccacia rolls were nice.

Great little place, cheap coffee and good variety of food. Sandwhiches are always fresh. Hot (fried) food is a little pricey. Different hot meal every day. Always friendly service. Handy ATM in store.

The lunches here are quite nice, and generous sizes. A little pricey for pub food. Seems to be default for most places that all side salads to come with balsamic dressing these days, dont seem to realise not everyone likes it. Was not impressed with the "mud cake" for dessert. It was a chocolate mudcake from coles, dont appreciate paying $6 for a slice of coles cake. I will say that the chicken kiev is nice, the sauce it comes with is yummy.

Family owned business with a great variety of fresh seafood. Not real cheap but worth a few more dollars to buy it there rather than the smelly stuff in woolworths. They also have a variety of cooked items, the potato scallops, mini spring rolls, and fish bites are particularly good. The fish bites seem to vary as to what sort of fish they are made with which is good.

Not a bad takeaway for an easy lunch or dinner. Not the nicest chips which is expected for takeaways given the oil is re-used so many times. Pretty good prices. Forgot to give us our gravy last time which was annoying as we werent driving all the way back to get it. It does get extremely busy at times in the evening, so get there early.
