Went in to buy xbox one waited half an hour and not one bit of help. Discusting customer service. Even Went and stood in front of the big tvs still nothing.

I've used JB HiFi to buy laptops, Sony camera lenses, a couple of camera bags, and a home theatre sound system. The staff are always friendly, and when you ask for a discount they get straight to the point and offer you the very best price. Everyone bargains these days (sadly for the sake of retail store) but JB just does their best and it usually is THE BEST. So no complaints here.

Always my first place of choice when I think of buying electronics

i always have great experience in JBHIFI shop (s) as i usually find what i search for, they are always first in selling newest releases of dvd's and cd's, you can browse in shop for a long time without anyone interuppting you (at least in dvd section) and i ussually find some good items that i wasn't even searching for...prices are reasonable, some old good movies dvd's are bargain ($6-$9) ...o the other side i found few collector's items and dvd collections that are quite pricey but worthy of buying as they are rare to find...also recommending their documentaries (especially on true crimes and investigations, as they are my favourite)...new releases around$25-30 depending if it is dvd or blue ray...not to forget they have good home entertainment section and sometimes sales on cd or dvd players or tv sets of good brands (LG, Toshiba, etc)...i bought my iPad 3 here recently and was very happy with staff as they immediatelly arranged broadband connection and offered Apple extensive protection (for additional price)...it is place to go very often...

I recently bought an iPod as a Christmas gift. The store was a little busy so I wasn't too surprised that getting service was a little difficult. When I did get some assistance, I informed the sales person that I was after an iPod and that I had seen it advertised for $10 less than their asking price at a competitor's store. After the sales person verified this information, he lowered the price for me without question.

Overall, I found my experience at the store pleasant and will continue to shop here.

Went shopping for two new Mac's on the weekend, was such a pleasure to deal with everyone at the store with the great advice. They even gave a discount for the sale. I would highly recommend shopping for a Mac here, to beat the 100-people crowd at any Apple store!

Majority of staff here are ok but not overly helpful. When going in to buy a PS3 I was fobbed off and made to wait so long I walked out and spent $1000 at the local EB's instead. Prices are almost always the best on DVD's, music and big end items. A mix of good and bad but the bad staff ruin it for the good ones.

The staff here is very helpful and knowledgable...technically sound and are capable to answer all your queries. we were looking to buy a TV and they helped us clarify differences in LCD and Plasma which is always a difficult discission!!

great place to buy anything in home theater - i got my tv here and the staff are very helpful -they will always do a better price than what is on the ticket so make sure you get them to get the book out to look it up!
