JB Hi-Fi (Colonnades)

Had a software problem with phone I purchased - tried for ages to get it working but couldn't. Finally brought it back the next day for help - couldn't have been more pleased with the help! (Sam?) immediately replaced the phone, so I got two unboxing moments, and no other questions asked.
I expected good value but the service and after-sale assistance blew me away - highly recommend them.

We had been meaning to purchase a new fridge for some time now and after researching many places we found these guys to be the best. Our wonderful huge fridge was on a massive special yet the salesperson still reduced the price another $50 which actually covered the delivery price. Amazingly, delivery was scheduled for the following day. It arrived right on time and the guys unpacked it and put it in place, excellent customer service with both purchasing and delivering. We love our new fridge.

Above & beyond what I expected to happen!!!
Purchased an Apple Laptop in mid Dec due to old computer being dropped. Was claiming on old computer several weeks after xmas on insurance but they wanted Reciept for new Apple laptop. Could not find anywhere!!! Just as well we paid from a card & not cash because we had it on our bank statement.
Go to JB-HiFi expecting they can't find a Reciept going back weeks & expected the usual 'Sorry, can't help you" but NO!!!
Manager came up, looked at date & amount on bank statement, said to just wait a moment while he looked into it. Within less than 2 minutes he was back with a copy of Reciept!! No problems, all with a smile. FANTASTIC!! Thought we were going to have an argument about we can't be expected to keep all receipts etc.....to top it off it was really hot inside store, I was standing near front counter & there was a fan facing staff who were serving but I was obviously suffering with the heat. The manager said, stand here & then turned the fan around & pointed it onto me. Said, hope this makes you feel a bit more comfortable. THANK YOU, YES IT DID!!! Thanks staff, you were awesome!!

JB replaced my Toshiba ultrabook 2 yrs & 1 wk after purchase.
I had asked to speak with a manager who came right away and, unusually for most businesses, knew her consumer law from JB's staff training. She revealed that JB volunteered an extra year warrantee over Toshiba's (substandard) 1 yr warrantee, and believed me that the fault developed within 2 yrs and that I had needed 2 wks to first get a tech to test it & then time to get in from the country. However their repairer, Leader, took ages to determine it was unrepairable.
Excellent value when you consider you get an extra year's warrantee for free.

great shop with huge selection of stock, they seem to stock alot of stuff like tv series on dvd that other stores dont. quite good value for money and great to get gift cards when you are not quite sure what to get someone. It is a very busy store so service is hard to get at times.

Not a bad shop located upstairs in the old section of Collonades. They have a veriety of games, cd's, dvd's & electricals. Sometimes you can even get specials on dvd's. If you cant find what you are looking for the staff help find it online in one of the other stores for you.

great place for cheap and good electronics but the staff tend to be a bit intimidating and weird looking.

Fun, Excellent and Helpful Staff that help with a smile and give you an excellence experience, love the sales. They have everything you need and if you cant find it one of their friendly staff will help you

Went there to get some dvd's, had exactly what I wanted. The young guy at the cashier was extremely helpful. He knew exactly what I wanted and was able to to tell me the release date of the other dvd's I wanted. Great service, very friendly staff.

Great friendly (and quite a few good looking) staff, always more then happy to be of assistance in finding anything, no matter how obvious it might have been to find if I weren't so lazy/impatient. Know their stuff.

A great shop for your DVDs and CDs but don't bother with your car stereo. The guy didn't know anything he was talking about. Wanted a JVC and he didn't know anything about them.

Good service, the sales people were available to answer questions. Always having sales and bargains. Good value. I have visited a few times when researching items to buy e.g. tv's, computers, stereos.

A large variety of products at amazing prices. They offer all the lastest technology out at really great prices and always have them in stock. We brought alot of stuff from this company and they gave it to us at a really cheap price. Will definately deal with them again and recommend them to everyone.

Overall a great shop for CDs, DVDs, Hi-Fi, Car Stereo, Computer stuff. I mainly go for the wide range of music and movies. I always compare prices with other stores and on-line and more often than not JB are the cheapest. Hi-Fi is probably aimed at the doof-doof young people market.
