Worst customer service ever. Don't buy or ever service your Kia at John McGrath auto group. Staff are rude and the language was disgusting to say the least. Told to go buy a kia at National Capital Kia if I didn't like the service. Never told the price of service or when my car was ready only to find out they didn't service it in the first place. Very poor and only out to make money.

Steer clear of John McGrath Ford at Woden.

Took my vehicle into JMF at Woden to get the front parking sensor repaired because it was continually went off even if there was nothing around.

They tried twice - charged like wounded bulls and the sensor was never repaired.

So, believing that the sensor was irreparable, I purchased a sensor kit from JMF Woden and had them install it. I immediately I had the same issues after leaving JMF and driving 200 metres.

I took my vehicle back and told them the problem was still there. They then said they couldn’t fix it. I’m still having the same issues which they refuse to fix. All up I’ve spent over $1,000 and still they haven’t repaired it.

Because they haven’t fixed the problem I have had to turn off the parking sensors to stop them continuously going off for no reason.

John McGRATH Ford at Woden are a terrible business. They are happy to take your hard earned, but are equally happy to do nothing to assist or help in any way.

Unless you want a hole burned in your pocket and your vehicle not repaired, go anywhere but JMF Woden.

I am writing this review after my recent experience at John McGrath Ford Woden. 10 days ago my Kia Sportage had a flat tyre. After swapping wheels over and with the flat tyre in the boot I proceeded to John McGrath Woden as they had always done my car servicing and I thought they could get me a tyre to match the spare. How wrong was I.
After dropping off the tyre and being told I would be contacted shortly with a quote for a new tyre a week later I was still waiting.
Several phone calls later by me , being told my calls would be returned and never were, I got the distinct feeling no one had any idea about the wheel I had left there.
10 days later I asked for my wheel back took it straight to Jaks Tyers and they had it all organised in minutes.
Why didn't I do that first?
No apology from Kia service manager
Probably won't get my car serviced there anymore

Unrealistic deadlines
Hefty charges

I took my car for a engine check and clutch pad replacement...
After the initial check, I was told clutch pads needs replacement cost 170$ plus labor charge and asked me to come in 2 weeks
During next visit after I dropped the car, said 330$ plus labour NOt 170$r.i said ok..lets do it

an hour later they say clutch pads not in stock and I need to wait another month for the stock to arrive from overseas or pay 700$ to replace with after market piece and I was kept informed they took out the gear box & engine(Signaling me to pay for labor charge anyway)..when I said to replace as I have no option, they were kept delaying and I was out of car for a week.

Everyday some excuse, mechanic is sick leave, engine is takenout so we need same mechanic, or we are too busy n less staff
finally I got a car after a week which was leaking oil and dodgy job, I had to take it to other mechanic to fix these issues

Never go to John McGrath Mitchell, Canberra..worst service, too many chargers....very bad customer service

Not very pleased with the customer service. I think they can do better with their price, after sale service and be more honest when a customer has issues.

They were very happy to take my money, but once they had me hooked the services from there was appalling. Is it too much to ask that they tell you upfront what is happening rather than the constant changing stories. Lovely car, pity about the level of service from dealership though. Got better service after buying a much cheaper second hand car from another ford dealership.

Absolutely dreadful. They lied, sold us a wrecked car, continually refused to fix it, refused to respond to our complaints. We will never buy a car from them again.

They are the best i just brought my second car from them. They are very professional and experts at their job. The after sale service is great with check up calls just to see if everything ok. they offer heaps of extras and are always out to please. I will only ever buy from them
