I love this small, unpretentious salon where I get great service without any of the (unfortunate) attitude that comes with many salons in the area. Great friendly, down to earth staff & excellent cuts. 10 out of 10 for service!

Living in Donvale I don't tend to venture too far for a haircut, and ever since I returned to my natural colour over a year ago I haven't even been for a haircut (shh... I know it's naughty!) However the deal for Jorge Viota's salon on Living Social was too good to pass up so I went on a journey to Brunswick East.

My stylist was Ilaria and I couldn't be happier with my visit! I was made to feel so welcome on arrival and throughout my visit; we had a lovely chat but I was also given plenty of time to read magazines (something I reserve for salon visits and doctors surgeries). The coffee was delicious and presented beautifully - it's little things like that which make all the difference.

And my hair? My hair is amazing! There were no surprises either, Ilaria made sure I knew, before she started, that because of the length of my hair there would be an extra charge for the colour and also for the toner, which weren't included in the voucher. No worries, I'd read the fine print, but it's nice to be reminded.

I had balayage, cut and style. The colour is fantastic, I've never been so happy with colour application, the cut is spot on and the style prompted someone to come up to me in a bar that night just to say "you look phenomenal" - all thanks to Ilaria!

Tried out this salon using a Groupon offer and so glad I did. It was a great experience. You feel welcome and comfortable the second you walk in and the atmosphere is totally chill, no pretentious or gossipy folks. I got Yuki who did a balayage, cut and styling and it turned out great. She was so pleasant to talk to, she totally got what I was looking for and was really good with giving suggestions and advice. I think I finally found my go-to hair salon.

Bought a groupon voucher for a style cut. Best value hair cut I've ever had. Yuki welcomed me and after settling me in with a latte, we discussed what it was I wanted to achieve. I am growing out a bob cut so there is no real style to my hair. After listening to my thoughts and adding a few of her own suggestions, Yuki set to it and the end result was more than I could ever had expected! I looked and felt fantastic! I bought this coupon because it was cheap but the hair cut is anything but. I wil be back and happy to pay the real cost to jab my hair styled. I highly recommend this salon!

I bought an our deal voucher style cut and full head of foils and was very nervous not knowing if I would be happy. I have tried many different salons as they say they can cut curly hair. Ilaria and Yuki attended to me and they really took the time to listen. I showed them pictures I had taken to work out styles and colours. WOW what a result!! My husband thinks he has a new younger wife. Hot trendy reds and on trend style after hours of their time. Not to mention 2 really classy flat whites with choc topping, so thankyou very much. Jorge has been my hairdresser for a couple of years now. I usually get a cut and colour and often will completely change hairstyles and colours every few visits. Jorge always manages to work with whatever I throw at him and I walk out the door a very happy customer, which is why u keep coming back.
