Went to stockland Rockhampton for a haircut today. Waited 2hrs which was fine because I got some Christmas shopping done, when it was finally my turn I got a stylist who didn’t speak English very well. She never asked me what I wanted and I tried to explain to her as best I could. Generally I get a choppy concave done so when she was cutting the back short I wasn’t concerned but then she pulled a front section and cut it above the top of my ear. I was obviously in shock and said repeatedly that that was to short but she couldn’t do anything but repeat back what I said and continue cutting. I actually had to physically grab hold of the scissors to prevent her from cutting anymore. I tried not to be rude because she clearly didn’t understand but I was quite loud hoping that one of the other stylists would come over which didn’t happen. I ended up asking her to stop, I was so close to tears at this point I actually paid the $33 for a hacked half a hair cut, thank god I’m 8months pregnant and it will grow an inch by next week but I will have to wait atleast 6months before I can grow it enough to get it shaped into its regular cut.
I would very much like an apology and my money back as I was clearly upset when leaving and nobody wanted to help me. I think somebody should be in store to help interpret what the customer wants when hiring people that don’t speak English.

One of the best cuts I have had in years with Eleen- very competent and a great deal of experience world wide. Loved my cut and how it retains its shape. Have been back several times and look forward to continuing as a customer. Thank you

They were alright though they cut way to much hair

Butchered my hair inwould never go back they thinned thinned hair when you don't so that no happy. There's always a massive line too

The most amazing stylists I have ever met, everyone is extremely friendly and go out of their way to make people smile. Absolutely love this place, fantastic customer service. Great work to this team!!!!!!

Screwed up a pretty basic cut (just wanted my hair layered; ended up with 5cm sliced off and stil no layering).

I complained through the website and the manager called me to go into the store and when I went in there was no apology for ruining my hair - in fact they wanted another go at it! Unless they can magically grow my hair over night, there's no way I was letting them touch it again. And apparently, they don't "do" refunds.

Haircuts can be a bit hit and miss depending upon who you get. I have found that you can ask for your preferred hairdresser which makes the experience worthwhile overall. If only they did colour.

I only went there once, they are pretty good, I have long hair, for cut, it cost me 40 dollars, compared to other hairdressers, it is not very expensive. the hairdressers are very friendly, they asked about your preferences patiently, and the result came out satisfied.

Just Cuts is exactly that, they get you in do the basics and you leave.
You get what you paid form in fact.
They could offer a smile at least. That isn't too hard.

went in for a haircut. i had the most horrible experience with an apprentice or newly-hired hairdresser (who knows??) she's so unsure of herself that i asked for a more senior hairdresser to take care of my locks. i think some people might have the same experience as me not just with just cuts but with other hair salons all over australia, im not alone!!! every girl have this bad experience at least once in their lifetime ( im not being me as it really happens to me, no offense meant for just cuts)
