We travelled from Melbourne to have a tattoo done, and was first looking at Bondi Ink, but when we arrived we were not happy with the facilities and the fact that not enough time had been allocated to do mine, let alone my partners.
That was to our advantage as their was another tattoo shop in the vicinity called Kaleidoscope that invited us down to have a chat about our needs. We discussed our ideas with Kevin and Orlando at Kaleidoscope, and they listened and advised us, resulting in tattoos that were beyond our expectations!! The lovely Californian receptionist was warm and friendly upon arrival and everyone there made us feel as comfortable as possible. My tattoo was very significant to me, and the outcome was the wow factor on all of my friends faces, making me so happy I picked this business for my first tattoo!!
Thank you everyone for being so kind and patient, especially Kevin, we will definitely be back and referring anyone who wants a fantastic professional tattoo done to come here!!

Amazing, saved me and my tattoo. I was very upset having mine botched up at another place bondi ink. Basically this place brought me back to life with an awesome cover up. Extremely ethical and professional. Loved that they gave initial one on one consultation appointment. Only regret is that I didn't find kaleidoscope first.

Very thorough! You can tell these guys are serious about what they do! Each artist there is amazingly talented but very different styles to each other so make sure you check which one will suit you, I went with mark and was very impressed super clean lines and awesome detail. Not the cheapest place to get done but if price is your deciding factor for a tattoo then you probably shouldn't be getting one:p very happy with the result and I will be going back!!

I booked myself in for a 'consultation' for my first tattoo. I was very nervous/anxious, but had a clear idea of what Tattoo I wanted and why I wanted it. 
I met with my Tattooist straight away. I didn't feel very welcomed nor did I feel I was understood. Yes, I could see the great sketches and pictures on the walls of very impressive tattoos.
I was not asked why I wanted this tattoo, (it has a strong meaning to me) or asked if I had any tattoo's, nor was a sketch of my tattoo drawn on me? I was given a couple of quick design I wasn't too sure about and then told I should book myself in for the tattoo, where they would sketch a design then tattoo me. I felt as if I was being urged to book the appointment without having a clear mind of what I wanted. I left feeling more confused than what I did going in. 
The guys there look more than capable of creating amazing tattoos, but as someone getting their first tattoo I will not be getting 'inked' there.

not sure where to start. I have been for my consult with view to get a tattoo done. These guys are so thorough about detail and making sure that what they do will be exactly what you want. don't bother going there with a basic idea... you need to know EXACTLY what you want. They then book you for another consult after they have drawn your peice. Once you have given the OK your tattoo appointment is booked and the work begins. It sounds like a long process but the outcome is amazing and a piece of art, not just another tattoo. Each artist has their own style so I reccommend checking out the artwork on the website before going in to see which person might be a good fit for your tattoo. These guys are expensive! But very very good quality, tattoos are forever (not just diamonds)
