I love this place…
I stayed here for 4 days with my mum and dad who were visiting from England. We all absolutely loved it, perfect location, right in the middle of town. The apartment was very spacious and cosy all in one. Patrick the owner was wonderful and provided us with a welcoming vibe throughout our stay. We were stuck at the hotel during the QLD Cyclones and again, Patrick and his family put our minds at ease and were great hosts.
I will be back again!!!

This review is for Boyds Garage, Surry Hills NSW

Coming from England, I have always had my dad's mechanic friends looking over my cars.

I gave Boyd's garage a call and spoke with Tery, instantly I relayed my concerns to him and I was assured and calm. They are very patient and informative. They fixed the issue as required.

This review is for Luigi's Deli, Bondi Beach NSW

I was very disappointed when I went to Lugi's cafe this Saturday. The staff were rude and very unhelpful. The menu seems to have been cut down and was very greasy cafe "like"
I ordered a coffee and the Salmon Eggs Benedict with a side of avocado. My girlfriend ordered daily the omelette with "everything".
The coffee came quickly and was very good.
My food arrived looking a bit messy. Not instagram worthy. My avocado was black and tasted very off. My friends food came 8 mins after mine. The toast had a strand of hair on it and the omelette only had mushrooms within it, no greens, no tomato, just hundreds of mushrooms.
When we paid we mentioned about the hair and the guy behind the counter simple replied saying "really, oh" then took our money. No apology.
Very disappointed that this cafe has lost it's edge.
I will not be going back.

This review is for Budget Rent A Car, Sydney NSW

verified email - 18 Apr 2013

My company hired a car for me for a trip to Melbourne, The woman at the desk was very helpful and understanding of my confusion when I believed my company had already paid for the car rental. Once we organised the finances I waited for the car for around 20 minutes, which wasn't included in my busy time schedule for the day. I was given a different car than we had just been allocated, however I was still charged at the rate I was quoted. (I believe this car was an upgrade)
I would use budget again, they provide a great service all across Australia and I can also collect my frequent flyer Qantas points when I book.

This review is for The Soda Factory, Surry Hills NSW

verified email - 18 Apr 2013

I was very excited to go to The Soda Factory to try one of their $1 Hot Dogs that every hipster in Sydney seems to be talking about.

I was most excited at actually walking into The Soda Factory, it has that secret feel to it especially since the entrance is somewhat hidden. You walk up and it says 'Bobby's Boss Dogs' that does takeout orders, but you walk thru a 'secret phoney coke machine ' door and you're inside The Soda Factory.

Once inside, this was not the case, holding on to the belief that The Soda Factory was going to live up to my expectations, I was sufficiently disappointed. This bar tries TOO hard to be something different, when it really is exactly the same as every other bar within Surry Hills.

The bar staff and waiters were unfriendly. I understand it may get busy, but this was just crazy, people were sat on the floor, steps, corners of reserved tables. I ordered the $1 hot dog, which was very enjoyable for a $1 hot dogs and I got the hell out there.

This place is trying too hard to be original when it has no difference to its competitors. Maybe I need to go to The Soda Factory on a different night to $1 Hot Dogs, however many other bars within Surry Hills offer the same vibe.

This review is for The Village, Potts Point NSW

verified email - 18 Apr 2013

The Village is trendy bar located in the outskirts of Kings Cross (Potts Point, Nice Try Guys) Regardless of the location it is a great place to start an evening.

The menu is very varied and they include Gluten Free Pizza, which is always a bonus. The food tastes great but I do feel like it is a bit expensive for what it is: RE: Quality of food and portion size.

There was a small group of us and the staff looked after us very well. They advertise decent food specials on during the week which I'm keen to check out. The Village is a great place to catch up with friends for drinks, I will be going back there soon.

This review is for Bruschetteria, Surry Hills NSW

Okay first of all I would like to say I adore this place!!

The service is always delivered with an energetic smile and a welcoming face even if the place is packed.

I have lived opposite this café for over 6 months and it is my favourite coffee hotspot within Surry Hills (Very strong competition)

The food is the 'typical Surry Hills' menu, clean, healthy and tasty and highly affordable. The deco is warm and has a real vintage Italian feel to it. The coffee is always strong and fantastic, just the way I like it.

I am yet to go to the café in the evening for dinner, but I am sure they will deliver in the evening as well as they do in the day.

This review is for Hurricane's Grill, Bondi Beach NSW

verified email - 16 Apr 2013

A visit to Hurricanes while in Bondi is obligatory. There is always a busy vibe with this restaurant, it would be best to book if you can. Even when booking a table you could wait.

The food never disappoints, it is always so filling and flavoursome. The ambiance is always great and the food will always be nicely presented.

Overall I will be going back again, although it is not a cheap date!

This review is for Criniti's, Sydney NSW

verified email - 15 Apr 2013

Visited Criniti's on Saturday for dinner with a group of 8. Excellent starter of calamari and chilli followed by a very nice cheesy pasta, baked in the oven. Yes something different and absolutely delicious. During the night I had a few Long Island Ice Teas which were severed in fantastic classes. The restaurant was very busy and the service was no existent, the staff were not rude but neither approachable. All in all the food was delightful. It is pretty expensive, but we had a great table and could watch the darling harbour fireworks which was very enjoyable. I will not go back in a hurry but I would recommend to a group of friends looking for good Italian food.

This review is for Pureprofile, Sydney NSW

Pure Profile is FANTASTIC! It is brilliant for earning extra cash and giving your opinion (which I love to do!!)

There are many online reward programs however Pure Profile is by far the best. You are able to redeem REAL HARD COLD CASH. It doesn't take long to get your balance up to an amount where you can redeem. (Maximum redeem of $50 for 60days)

Do not get shocked by the initial signup process (this is the only frustrating part) Pure Profile will make up for it by providing you with heaps of surveys which results in cash.

I have been with Pure Profile for a few months and being able to give my opinion on different topics is fantastic, and to receive money for it I am very content. I have never had any problems with redeeming my cash, the bank transfer can take up to 5 weeks which is fine by me. :)
