Jason and Katrina were wonderful in looking after my brother-in-law Ashley after he passed suddenly due to cancer. Ashley was a dual citizen for Australia and the UK and he considered both countries home. As his service was during Covid-19 restrictions we had to try to accommodate the family in both countries and give them all the opportunity to mourn by way of live streaming the service. I can not express enough gratitude for the professionalism and personal touch Jason and his team gave us during such a difficult time. No questions were left unanswered, no special request was a problem and our Ashley's last event was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Jason and his lovely wife and staff are so respectful of not only the deceased but of their family and friends. Jason and his staff help my family through the tragic loss of our 22 year old son who had just become a dad months before his death. The service was talored to suit our son and his life 100 percent. Losing my baby brother was unexpected and an absolute heart breaking for not only myself, my children and my entire family. Both my mother and brother in law would join me in recommending Jason Killick. From first moments to conclusion all went as planned and as well as it possibly could have. He was a kind, calm, reassuring presence throughout, thoroughly knows his field and is very invested in it. He gave us some valuable advice re the cremation service which I am glad we followed. It is a small family firm, he answers the phone, returns emails promptly and arrives when he says he will. He came to both Brisbane and Ipswich which was appreciated. Nothing seems too much trouble. My brother in law adds that he gave 'good, personal service and was thoughtful and respectful.' He seems to go beyond just doing his job and we hope his firm continues to do well. It deserves to.
