Never did I dream that I would ever have to send my mum home in a coffin but my worst fear became a reality. However the sincere genuine empathy and professionalism of Jason n Katrina and their guidance not only for myself n family but also my mum before her passing helped us all accept what was happening and what was to come. When my father passed away in May, Jason and Katrina arrived at my mothers house within three hours of my initial phone call. They were kind, caring and supportive of my mum and her wishes. They made the process so easy, they took care of everything she wanted. They did not take advantage of an emotional woman where many would and were efficient and compassionate. The 'after' service was lovely, a phone call can mean a lot when you lose your partner in life of 50 years. I will use their services again and I recommend them to everyone I know.

"Ironic really that exactly 1 month before my father passed away, I actually got to sit down with Jason in my home after a mutual friend referred him to me. My fathers final wishes were to be taken back to NZ to be buried with my mother. From the initial sit down I knew EXACTLY what I was in for. No hidden fees, costs etc the questions I asked were answered clearly and honestly, even the ones I thought sounded stupid in my head were not met with any "laughter".
When dad did finally pass Jason was so quick to respond and sensitive to how I was feeling and the enormous task that was set before me. He made arrangements for family to visit dad in his funeral home, was culturally sensitive to our wishes and needs and providing advice. We asked last minute if we could include a small service/viewing/gathering when we came to dress dad and of course he allowed us to take over his facility.
The repatriation process was so smooth. Jason took care of everything to do with dad (flights, pick up from Auckland airport by another funeral director etc) and when we arrived to Auckland to collect him, Jason's business associates were absolutely awesome and very welcoming. Dad travelled extremely well all thanks to Jason and his work.
I highly recommend Jason to anyone who is looking for someone who is EXTREMELY professional, caring & sensitive in a time that can be earth shattering when losing a loved one. My family are NZ Maori and all our cultural needs were meet with respect and trust which is extremely hard to find. Even right down to the korowai which he lent us to use for the viewing and the church service. My utmost heart felt thanks to Jason and his wife for their love and support towards my whanau - thank you for helping dads final wishes come to fruition for me, I'll remember that forever xxx"

Jason and Katrina our family cannot thank you enough for the amazing send off you guys prepared for my Step Dad/Best friend Gordon Varcoe. We didn’t know where to start with preparations but one phone call and you guys had everything under control.
It was stress free knowing you had everything set up the way Gordy would of wanted right down to you organising the Piper, a job we thought we would have to do. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and huge, we had quiet a few people comment on the flowers you organised right down to the rose you placed on my cousins gravesite which was one gravesite away from my dad, what a great touch. Jason.... from the moment i first contacted you to the moment we laid our beloved to rest your manner your guidance your knowledge and especially your understanding was something no one will ever truly appreciate the way we do.... Losing a loved one whether expected or sudden is never easy and to add repatriation to the mix can be so frightening... but not once did we frett or worry as you communicated with us every step of the way. You made my unty feel comfortable in knowing she would be cared for with the utmost respect and cultural understanding..... We had a long trip home taking 24 hrs of travel (3.5 hr flight, 10 hr drive, several exchanges from airports to undertakers etc) to get her home from brisbane airport to hicks bay nz. Your work was indeniably done with perfection as she looked just as stunning when we got her to the marae as she did the first day we viewed her. Your all inclusive packages made it steess free for our whanau so we didnt end up with hidden costs... the whanau room... and also including the undertakers fees in Nz for us to ensure our loved one was in a good state after the flight. Keep up the good work Jason and team.... you truly are angels on this earth xoxox

knowing in advance that we were going to lose our brother we began the process of researching funeral homes early.
We had spoken to several companies when a colleague mentioned Jason Killick Funerals to me. I called them and was amazed that the person who initially took my call was actually the owner of the business. Jason took the time to explain the entire process to me and what we could expect when the time came. He was right.
Jason gave me a price for the cremation service and that price was honored. The service booklet and the dvd of photos were of an incredible standard. We were treated with respect, dignity and patience and Jason sat with us for such a long time as we went through photos and we never once felt we were inconveniencing him.
