Kim and his team exceeded my expectations. I first met Kim when he was doing my neighbour's renovation over ten years ago. Kim's manner had not changed. He was very approachable and he offered options, I felt comfortable with his advice that is why I chose him out of my quotes I had not dealt with professional builders before and I wanted a deck done.

Kim's team were polite, professional, punctual, hardworking and honest. Kim always followed through immediately if I made any calls to him and the job was done in time. The job was extremely well done and I have had a lot of compliments from several neighbours who have said it has made a huge difference to my place. I wouldn't hesitate to have Kim and his team back again and have already recommended him to others. Thanks again to Kim and his team. I am delighted with your work.

We couldn't be happier with the way our Queenslander renovation/ extension went. Kim has a wonderful team and great subbies. They were not only great at their jobs but also incredibly friendly and accomodating.

Kim worked with us from the start and had a lot of great ideas to help refine the design and find ways to achieve what we wanted without compromising on our dreams or blowing the budget.

Mark (the site foreman) made the whole process on site run very smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble. They worked with us on little changes that we wanted along the way and suggested a few that made a big difference to how well the house 'works'. The tradies were excellent at solving the little problems the 100 year old house inevitably threw at us along the way and the quality of finish and attention to detail were great.

The project came in on time and on budget. The result is a really beautiful character home that our family loves living in.

We have already recommended Kim Alexander Brisbane to a number of friends and are happy to do so without hesitation.

Deceitful builder as we raised a Queenslander and signed a contract that the work "was of highest standard".

We never saw the builder, cladding was the lowest standard, concrete slab fell towards the house with unacceptable finish,

Our driveway was cracked and marked by the skip bin used during works yet no acceptable repair/replacement was undertaken by the builder

At PC the house was left in an unfinished, filthy state and the builder demanded payment.

Unfortunately QBBC were needed to direct the builder to repair unfinished works.

A thoroughly unpleasant 6 month experience.

This is a recent 2018 review. Zero recommendation of business. Are you planning on renovating in Brisbane then stay away from this company. The builder advertises the highest quality standards but never visits the site or takes responsibility for the substandard work.

Kim Alexander and his team have just completed a renovation for us in Spring Hill. The job was on a 1880's Workers Cottage. Raise and rear extension. From our first meeting with Kim right through the building process they were great to deal with. The Project Manager (Andrew) and tradesmen were always professional in their approach to the job and we are really happy with the end result. We would highly recommend Kim for your building project.

We have recently completed a renovation of our home which included raising and building in underneath half of the house. From the outset, Kim was always on time, returned our calls and was so helpful and collaborative in his approach to helping us achieve our desired outcome, whilst adhering to our budget.
When construction commenced, we were looked after by Mark (the Foreman) and his team who at all times, were not only completely amazing to deal with but practical, professional and just generally fun to have around. They always went above and beyond with any request and nothing was ever too much trouble.
We cannot express just how great an experience it was renovating with Kim Alexander Builder. It is without hesitation we would recommend their services to anyone considering building/renovating.

We had Kim Alexander and his team complete a major renovation on our 3 bedroom Red Hill property. The entire experience from contract engagement through to final documentation was excellent. The project team worked extremely hard (through the summer months) and we were back in the house ahead of schedule. The quality of the work was excellent and we couldn't be happier with the project outcome. Very good company, highly recommended.

1. Kim's customer service philosophies and business principles are excellent. The detail he put into his quote matched our requirements and was quite forthright, trustworthy and transparent.
2. They value the quality of their finished product as they know it leads to good referrals.
3. Mark and the builders were great to have around the house and very polite, considerate and happy to be interrupted for questions etc.

We engaged Kim and his team to build a small second dwelling on our property where my Mother now resides. From the beginning of the project, the level of service and skill provided by Mark and his team was exemplary. Their attention to detail was second to none, and nothing was too much trouble.
