Horrible service. avoid this place at all cost.

I went in for a few dark high lights and the person attending gave me orange highlights. The service was super poor. I booked an appointment and had to wait 40 mins till my turn. I saw people who came after me without appointments serviced first. The person looking after me did the worst highlights and took chunk of hair without doing it finely with comb. She was not gentle with my hair and kept pulling it with her comb which was super painful. She attended atleast 5 other haircuts while my hair was being treated and I had to keep asking for her. She never checked my hair during the process. I had a bad feeling and should have just left, but I couldn't with bleach on my hair. She charged me a ridiculous amount of money - almost 600 - and now I have to spend another fortune at another hair dresser to get it corrected as I cannot trust them. I was so drained after 4 hours on the seat that i couldn't argue and accepted the hair as they were. Horrible horrible service. English is a big problem as no one follows it or understands it

I have been going here for a long time. All hairdressers are great. My personal faves are Jinny and Christy. My balayage was on point, beautiful and more than what I hoped for. Even the styling is always so amazing.

The place in Strathfield does not know how to dye Asian hair. I went there for ash brown highlights and specifically said that I wanted to avoid any orange hair. I was served by "Eva". Three hours later, after bleaching my hair and dying it brown, I had bright orange highlights. I told them just to dye the whole thing brown because I hated the colour. They basically yelled at me until I paid the full amount -- $300 -- no discount, and my hair now looks exactly the same shade as before, except a lot less healthy. Unprofessional and unskilled. Avoid this place.

I come to this salon and ONLY this salon every couple of months to trim my split ends, to style hair and have my hair colored. I always have the head stylist choose my color and am always satisfied with her decisions. There is obviously an advantage if you are asian as they will have had more experience with korean/north east asian hair and styles than say caucasian hair. Having said that, they have a fair amount of regular customers from other ethnicities too so don't be discouraged. The staff are wonderful and friendly. The only time I wake up happy for an early morning appointment is when I have it scheduled in for Kim Sun Young.

I've only been here twice. The first time I asked for a fringe trim and the lady cut it way above my eyebrows and it was absolutely horrible. But she did the rest of my hair well because from past experience, hair dressers tend to layer it too much and make it all poofy. The 2nd time I went I was served by this lady called Christine and she was much nicer and was more willing to help me get what I wanted exactly. She listened when I said trim, so that she only cut as much as I wanted although she cut the rest of my hair a bit too short even though I said I only wanted like 2cms cut off.

Overall, they're better than a lot a know.

I came here a couple of times for hair-trims, and they did an ok job at it. I wouldn't say they are the best though because they make each cut chunky rather than fine. Also, don't go here for a fringe cut because they'll just do one chunky chop and call it done.

The staff here have limited understanding of English and this is a major problem. Either that or they don't particularly like satisfying the customers' wants. I'm most cautious of how my fringe is cut and when I want it to be left long, I expect it not to end up half way up my forehead. Despite the unsatisfactory service, I have returned several times as it's very conveniently located on The Boulevarde, close to Strathfield Station. I have thus been able to notice that they tend to charge extra for blowdrying, but not after they wet your entire head. Ok, so obviously you don't want to walk out of there looking like a wet dog, so you accept the blowdrying service. But they don't ask you whether you want to blowdry it just so it's dry, or if you want little grandma curls, so if you do go there, remember to ask for NO curls with your arms crossed in front of your chest when your hair dresser reaches for the barrel.

i went for a wash, cut and dry. it was a simple trim. i asked them to trim 2 cm. they went off and cut more than 5. the window said wash cut and dry $22. i asked the lady at the counter. she confirmed the price. Had my hair cut but another lady charged $38. when i asked about the $23 listed in the window, she said my hair was too long. my hair was just 10 cm below my shoulders and they call that long. that what do they call short?

Had my hair washed, style cut, blowdried and STYLED (curled) for $44. Value for money! The hairdresser despite limited english was able to cut my hair the way i wanted it.
