amazing breads and cakes! the carrot cake is my favourite - it is sooooo delicious!! Quality is high and products are always of this high quality. Friendly staff and great service

A great little German style bakery. A nice spot to stop for coffee and something sweet, although the tables do back onto the car park. I've also been told their pies are nice, they are on my list of things to try.

I bought 2 pies there once ; no meat in them ! And I mean , no meat...disgusting. Wrote an email, to let them know so they could check their Process , and they essentially try to deny it rather than saying 'thanks for letting us know so we can ensure it doesn't happen again ' . No refund or voucher sent either.
On the basis that they didn't really Care to know, I do not trust their quality checks or their pies, even though I go past all the time. Everything else ok but nothing special.

Their pies are to die for! Try the German Hotdogs - its perfect snack to bring to the park. Awesome selection of desserts too. Good find!

Very nice selection of cakes and other goodies! I was very much impressed. I purchased a cake which was just beautiful! Both tasted and looked great! Prices were pretty reasonable.

I keep coming back to the King of Cakes. Their Danishes are the best I've found since I've come to Brisbane. They are always well patronized - a testament to the quality of their products. It's a cozy place to drop in for coffee and cake with friends, or to take away to have at home.

I keep going back to King of Cakes because their cakes, pies and bread are so good. While the service can be a bit surly and slow sometimes, this may be because they are so popular.
