I bought a Kogan brand phone from Kogan in april 2013. Although the delivery time was good the product was different from the specifications listed on the website. The model was the same but some features were not as described on the website. I then had issues from the start with charging the battery contacted kogan who asked a whole bunch of questions and a few emails back and forth and stated it was the charger shipped with the phone that was faulty and not the first time this charger model had been found to be faulty. I received a new charger however the battery problem got worse and I suddenly found that the phones reception was also becoming worse as it was clearly the phone that was faulty. Sent an email back to kogan to which they replied asking for a screen shot of the battery graph I told them it wasn't the battery it was the phone and asked for them to arrange collection for repair or replacement and they still have not replied after several days. I found the product to be misrepresented and faulty, the service to be initially ok but extremely poor when it is clearly a product fault and kogan does not wish to take responsibility to fix or replace it. I would not recommend kogan to anybody regardless of the perceived good value of the products due to lack of customer service and bad product quality.
I have recently bought two phones from Kogan on separate occasions and was also a bit worried about how trustworthy they would be. Both times, the website was very easy to use and order and the phones actually were delivered early in the morning which was great as I was worried they would come when we weren't at home.
So very happy with this company. I ordered my Galaxy note 8 with free shipping. Security is probably the best yet with online ordering to eliminate fradulant transactions. I received my tablet earlier than expected and at an amazing price, cheaper than any local business could give.

Ordered my iPad and it was delivered more quickly than I expected. Packaging was good, and the website was easy to use and clearly laid out the delivery charges in the checkout. I'll definitely search here again for electronics.

i have nothing but great service from them. i am on the mobile service and also bought a s3 of them had the phone in my hands 3 days later. will purchase again.
Fantastic value. I purchased the iPad mini few weeks ago when it was on sale. Shipping took about a week and they kept me up to date with the shipping progress. I'm not sure how good the kogan branded products are, but keep an eye out for sales on kogan.
I've bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 from Kogan. While the site was pretty helpful in terms of explaining how I should order online, I have gotten mine two months after I've made an order even though the website has stated that I should get it a month later.
What a bummer having to wait
Purchased a retro-style handset designed to plug into an iPhone and take or make calls as a Xmas gift. It does not work at all, only plays songs from her iTunes collection - only static on the line when you try and make a call. Have sent several emails to Kogan about this issue - all but one ignored. The one reply I did get, just asked me to describe the problem again. I did and still no action taken. I would advise people to steer clear of this company based on their follow up service, or lack of it. I had thought of buying one of their Televisions, very relieved I have only lost my money on small purchase. Update 21/2/13 - I finally received a refund from Kogan but only after sending many emails, most of which were ignored. Think they gave me refund just to get rid of me in the end as I would not give up. Will never deal with this business again - extremely poor follow up service. Should not be this hard to get a repair or refund when item is faulty.

Unfortunately, I have little faith in Consumer Affairs being of any assistance to me given past experiences with them. From concert ticket packages not being as described and carpet company not honouring their warranty, Consumer Affairs have been of little assistance to me with matters costing several hundred dollar items to a couple of thousand dollar, I doubt they would help me with a $20 handset.
I purchased 2 Kindles and 1 was received damaged.
There were numerous emails sent to Kogan with no reply until I was finally requested to return the Kindle which I did. Kogan confirmed receipt and would reply in 7 business days. It is now 10 business days and I have not heard back from them.
I have emailed and called, no response. When contacted by phone, the Kogan message says the call centre is closed even though I am calling during the business hours stated on their own message system
My son is yet to use his Christmas present and no response from Kogan. Very disappointing and frustrating
I have had exactly the same experience with Kogan. Hope you are having more luck than me getting issues resolved. I feel lucky they only got $20 off me!
