I was in Melbourne a while ago and tried this place with my sister. The macarons are just devine and there is quite a variety of flavours. My favourite was definitely the salty caramel!

We stopped in to have some tea and macarons and the lady serving us was very polite and friendly. We wanted milk with our tea but they had run out of milk, so the lady went to buy some and when she got back, presented us with an additional two macarons, free of charge as an apology for keeping us waiting for milk (we were only waiting about 5 or so minutes)!

The tea there was also exceptionally tasty. I normally just drink tea and it tastes like tea, but there was something particularly yummy about this one.

The prices are on par with all the macaron stores I've been to however the smallest box they have is a 6 pack. You can also purchase the tea for $30 and it is a large box of tea.

I would definitely come back to this place if I went back to Melbourne!

O M G!!! I adore this place. Their macaroons really are the best. Lush little pockets of perfect crack and soft centred loveliness. It would be nice if the larger packs were a little cheaper as it's not a great saving but they really are divine.

Approximate cost: $2.50

Delicious macarons, wanted to buy all the flavours but at $2.50 each it does get expensive. Normally get the Pistachio, Blueberry & Pomegranate. Have had macarons from other places and these are the best!

Approximate cost: $20.00

I'm not a fan of macaroons as I find them wayy too sweet but those that are sold in La Belle Miette are my absolute favourite. Not too sweet but not blend either. Lots of flavors to choose from as well. They can definitely improve on their service attitudes but ultimately, I'm just there for the macaroons so not much of an issue for me.

Love it!

Approximate cost: $15.30

Great variety of macaroons. Some of them lack flavour, however the salted caramel is absolutely divine. Service is quite poor. The lady that served me was cold and eager to finish the "sale".

Approximate cost: $2.50

La Belle Miette is my favourite macarons place, because there is no other macarons place can beat this one. They have variety flavours and all I can say this shop sells fantastic macarons. I always buy the Chocolate and Raspberry chocolate (New!) flavour. The macaroon is flawless and goes smooth in your mouth. Must try!

Approximate cost: $2.50

I visited La Belle Miette a few weeks ago after reading the review about them on WOMO. I love macarons and the flavours listed on their website are absolutely mouthwatering! They have a gorgeous little shop on Hardware Lane in the Melbourne CBD (it's really tiny, so if you blink you'll miss it) and the presentation of the macarons is stunning.

I bought a selection of flavours including 'Moet et Chandon & blackcurrant', salted caramel, 'Pimms & pomegranite' and 'cherry blossom & sake'. I found them all to be really delicious and flavourful (my favourites were the Moet and Pimms ones!) The cost per macaron is pretty standard at around $2.50 each.

The only disappointing part of the experience was the staff member who served me. I found her to be quite cold and disinterested. I asked for flavour recommendations and before I even finished my sentence she started listing the flavours in a very quick, robotic tone of voice. It's really disappointing because warmer, more inviting staff would really complement what is already a gorgeous store and delicious product.

Specialty Macaron store that is relatively new located in Hardware lane. Of course, there's a wide selection of macarons(14 different flavours), which you can purchase individually($2.50) or in half dozen boxes or dozen boxes. These boxes have a 'souvenir' element as they are silver embossed and quite pretty thus making them a great gift idea. I've only tried the chocolate flavoured macaron and I think these are a step up when compared to Lindt if not one of the best. Of course these things are subjective so you gotta try and see for yourself!

This place sounds great! Thanks so much for sharing - I didn't even know it existed! I'm so excited I'm going to go there next week. Sounds like they have some awesome flavours. Thanks again!
