Decided to try lunch here based on the reputation/name as well as the $15 lunch box. It can be a bit hit and miss as it changes all the time(meaning you can always come back for something different). However, the servings are quite small and not enough for lunch considering you are paying $15. Overall it was just an average experience.
Being in the Entertainment Book we decided to try this for dinner. We booked an early dinner so we were served our meals relatively quickly after ordering. We both ordered pasta dishes and they tasted great. The only downside would be that they could have been a bit more generous with the servings. Can get a bit noisy as the bar area can get pretty busy especially Friday nights after work.
Decided to try this place for the first time due to it being in the Entertainment Book. The food is expensive but with the discount it was well worth it. The food was delicious and the atmosphere/decor really nice. However the only complaint was being "tricked" into ordering stilled water as they didn't give me the option(verbally) of tap water.
Have eaten here twice due to it being close to work and having Entertainment vouchers thus making it quite value for money. Despite it being a pub the food was actually quite decent(was not disappointed both time I have eaten here). The servings are also generous and because we came early our orders came relatively quickly. Recommend the Beef & Guinness Pie.
Tried the Yum Cha once with work colleagues. They are slightly more pricier than other yum cha places but it also comes with higher quality food and nice views across the yarra. They have an all you can eat option for $42 pp during weekends however unless you have a monster belly it is better value to go the "pay per dish" option.
First time I experienced the 'touch screen' ordering method. After placing our orders the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The menu range is extensive offering typical chinese style food. Prices are slightly higher than comparative restaurants though I guess it was worth the experience(for the first time).
A huuuge range of cupcake flavours(something for every one). At $2.20 per mini cupcake they are 'ok' in value(they have increased by 10% in recent years). They are however the perfect bite sized shape. Depending on the flavours the icing on some are not overly sweet which is what I like. e.g. Cookies and Cream or Belgium chocolate flavours. They also serve coffee which goes perfectly with your cupcakes.
Located in an alley off Little Bourke Street. I was surprised that this cafe existed in this alley when my colleague took me there for coffee one afternoon. I've only had the coffee here which was REALLY good(with impressive latte artwork) but they seem to specialize in bagels which other patrons were having. They looked very enticing so I'll be back during lunch one day!
Deluxe Bathrooms is a family business and have been renovating bathrooms for over 35 years. We had two bathrooms and two toilets renovated. We were very happy with the results which they delivered on time. They were always reliable and kept us informed as to the progress/schedule and we did not have any problems with having them in our home.
One of the better quality buffets in Melbourne with a huge range of food catering for all people. Located in a very fancy hotel with great views over the yarra towards Flinders street station. It is more expensive than most buffets however I definitely recommend everyone experience the buffet here at least once.
