Haven't been here for years. Due to traffic hold up, decided to stop in and have dinner instead of sitting in traffic. The pizza was so tasty and so was the roast vegetable salad. The service was escellent and attentive without being in your face.

Approximate cost: $37 for both

I love coming to this cafe/restaurant on a weekend night for a coffee or desert and just become part of the hustle and bustle that is Park Rd on a weekend. The atmosphere is great and the big replica Eiffel Tower centred right in the middle just adds to the ambiance. I have eaten here before and the food is fine, nothing spectacular but the atmosphere more than makes us for it. The prices are a little high and I think the alcohol is very expensive for a cafe. The affogato is actually really good and they usually have a pretty good selection of cakes. The parking can be a bit tricky and I try to avoid the area on game night as the congestion from Suncorp Stadium can become annoying.

What a great read! I'm with you there on the atmosphere! It's great. I find the service abit rude sometimes & prices are quite high but fun to go there on busy nights or weekends :-)

I was lucky enough to be on Park Road for an early lunch (before everywhere becomes packed) and stopped in here. Well, that's not entirely true, the charm of the elderly gentleman out the friend drew us in. It was a wonderful first introduction to the place.

The service was good, with the waiters being very attentive. The food was pretty good, too. I've paid more for worse at cafes in the past. It was a good thing we were there for an early lunch because as we were finishing our meal, it started to get really busy.

The only negative I really have was when it came time to pay the bill. We waited for about ten minutes, and when it still hadn't arrived, I had to go inside to ask for it (which was where I had to pay for it, anyway, but waiting for a bill to arrive irks me).

If you're looking for an early lunch on Park Road, I'd definitely recommend this place.

This cafe has a good atmosphere with food that is tasty but not exceptional. I would recommend their pizzas. From my lunch experience, the service was quite good with the waiter staff being very attentative.

Its the location here that keeps people coming back. I've been here a number of times, and it's always quite average. Nothing stands out as being exceptional - not even the service, which is sad. It used to be that I'd go here craving a thick Italian hot chocolate, but even those have started to be less than amazing. I judge the goodness of these by whether my spoon can stand up on it's own, and lately, it's not been able to hold it's own weight.

Prices are also quite average, and the quality of food is middle of the road. The atmosphere is nice, under the Eiffel tower in Park Rd, but unfortunately, that's the main claim to fame for this venue. It's nice and central for meeting people, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here for a special occasion

Fantastic food in the heart of Park Road. This is the truly, though sometimes cheesy, romantic hub in Brisbane. Look past the teens on first dates and you will find a truly amazing experience. Offering a range of authentic Italian fare under the Eiffell Tower, you may even be lucky to see the Ferraris that frequent the establishment. Finish the meals off with a gelato and you have a great evening of dining.

Approximate cost: $20-$35

I've been here a few times either for dinner or for a quick social. The atmosphere here is fairly average. I had a La Dolce Vita burger and found the burger to be of quite average quality and a bit small, especially for the price I paid for it.

Approximate cost: $15.00

Had the chicken pasta. It was good but nothing amazing. I wouldn't go here just for the food. You can get the same quality stuff a bit cheaper.

However what sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It has a replica Eiffel tower out the front (about 6 meters) and is nicely decorated. The service is also amazing. There was more than enough staff to great us. They remembered the booking I had made on the telephone and even my name.

Approximate cost: $22

Definitely a nice place to catch up with friends and have a coffee with desserts. It's also a place where you can take your relatives (from overseas) to have a relaxing time.

Approximate cost: $20

This café has a really nice atmosphere, although I'm not quite sure why it's an Italian restaurant with an Eiffel tower on it? But anyway, the food and drinks are quite average, but it's a romantic place to go especially late at night.
