I love my Italian food and this place definitely satisfied my cravings. The food is delicious, price is quite reasonable and it was overall a fabulous experience.

La Notte Carlton offered a 9 course degustation menu that showcased a selection of Italian cuisine such as an antipasto platter of ricotta fritters, eggplant, Sicilian sausage & arancini. This was followed on by pasta, veal and a nutella crepe dessert and topped with a good glass of red. We arrived rather hungry yet surprisingly this satisfied our empty bellies. The service was first class and the venue was appealing. We ordered through Groupon and were pleased with the outcome. Thank you La Notte, we had a great experience!

I know I buy nachos every time I go there, but they are the frigging best nachos in the whole of Melbourne. I can't even make them that good and I'm a nacho connoisseur. Just saying.

We met friends at this restaurant for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It wasn't overly busy so I find it hard to believe that the service could have been as bad as it was. One of our friends sent back his coffee as it was cold and asked for it to be reheated. Twenty minutes later we had to ask again for it and it came back but had obviously sitting on the counter for a long time as it was cold again. I ordered a juice and my husband ordered a coffee and we didn't get them until we asked (twice) and long after we had finished our cold breakfast. The food tasted Ok but was cold. We then waited and waited for our bill and finally gave up and went inside to ask for it. After looking at the other reviews I am guessing that we just picked a bad day but we were not impressed.

Lovely Italian restaurant open from early morning for breakfast to late evenings for dinner or drinks.

This a fantastic restaurant serving authentic Italian meals and just about everything on the menu is very appealing and appetising.

I have enjoyed dining at this restaurant either for a meal or a coffee, as the staff are friendly and enjoy having a chat with you.

The pastas are my personal favourites (and I am fussy when it comes to Italian cuisine!)

They also serve excellent coffees and other range of drinks too of course.

Highly recommend this place!! one of the best restaurants along Lygon Street in my opinon.
