I think this place is pricey and I always seem to go home hungry. Portion sizes are rather small and unless visiting on a Monday - Wednesday at lunch time where kids eat free, I'd spend an arm & a leg feeding the whole family for dinner. On a brighter note, the curly chips are great!

As an 'all you can eat' buffet style venue, Watergardens Hotel is a favourite of mine as I like the variety it offers. With an Asian/Modern Australian inspired menu, some of the regular delectables include a carvary section, pizza, pasta, Asian stirfries, seafood salad bar & loads more. The dessert bar is full of goodies and always has an appetizing selection on offer. I'd highly recommend it to anyone celebrating a birthday or small gathering. As a local, I am blessed with Watergardens Hotel at my doorstep. Happy Days!

WestWaters Hotel is the place for a quick catch up with friends or family.
With a cafe, bar, gaming area, hotel & function room facilities, West Waters really has it all covered. The food is fresh and what you'd expect for this type of venue and the live entertainment is awesome!! We come here regularly with the kids & always have a great time!

I took the kids to watch Pixel today and being the school holidays, long delays are expected. Yet the staff were very professional, friendly & dealt with a foyer filled with long queues, screaming kids and a generally busy day with much zest & enthusiasm. I was impressed with both the staff and the venue which is always kept clean & the movies starting on time. A++++

This review is for Buchan Caves, Buchan VIC

A stunning place to visit when in the Gippsland region. The Buchan Caves showcase two separate tours - the Royal Caves & the Fairy Caves. Each tour departs about 45 mins apart. We really enjoyed the Royal tour and our knowledgeable guide was both experienced and quite funny!! The caves themselves surpassed my expectations, however if you are the claustrophobic type you may want to take some water and a paper bag. Doubling up as a camping ground this place is perfect to take the kids for an outdoor byo lunch & play once the tour has ended. A+++

We actually dined here twice in one day! As it offers both an Asian and a Western menu we decided on the $12 Asian lunch which was fantastic! For dinner my husband & I ordered the Parma (on Parma night) which was okay but we both agreed it was not great. It did however come with a good glass of wine all for only $18. Definitely worth a visit but I'd probably stick to the Asian menu!

Wow!! What a superb place to dine at! Friday nights offer an all you can eat buffet for around $28pp. This has got to be the best buffet I have ever had and I have been to quite a few. The quality is amazing. Consisting of lamb kofte, salt & pepper squid, mini parmas, pork belly, fresh prawns and loads more topped with an amazing selection of desserts, this place had us at hello!! The venue is pleasant and the staff are warm & welcoming, a great venue that would rival Melbourne's best! Exceptional!! My husband wants to move here simply for the food lol!!

This review is for Switch, Taylors Lakes VIC

Switch in Taylors Lakes offers diners a young, fresh yet family friendly experience. The cuisine is modern Australian and is always changing to make good use of seasonal produce. The vibrancy of this place is awesome on a Friday and Saturday night and is a great place to catch up with friends or relatives. We frequent Switch and are never dissapointed. Check out their selection of mini cakes for a real treat!

This review is for La Notte, Carlton VIC

verified email - 21 Sep 2015

La Notte Carlton offered a 9 course degustation menu that showcased a selection of Italian cuisine such as an antipasto platter of ricotta fritters, eggplant, Sicilian sausage & arancini. This was followed on by pasta, veal and a nutella crepe dessert and topped with a good glass of red. We arrived rather hungry yet surprisingly this satisfied our empty bellies. The service was first class and the venue was appealing. We ordered through Groupon and were pleased with the outcome. Thank you La Notte, we had a great experience!

This review is for Muffin Break, Taylors Lakes VIC

verified email - 19 Sep 2015

Located within the Watergardens Town Centre precinct, Muffin Break attracts a decent following. Under new management, standards have slightly dropped as has the customer service. It seems that the new staff cannot handle the pressure of such a busy cafe. Still a good muffin & coffee, yet better exercise of staff would certainly benefit.
