The LVH is one of the best places to go for a relaxing coffee or beer while enjoying the view of the lake. During the day the LVH has a relaxaing atmosphere, however at night it takes a turn for the worse. The bar-room floor has sticky floors, the music is so loud that you can't have a decent conversation.

I love the renovations - I used to go here years ago, and in retrosspect, it was a bit of a dive. Love it now, it has great atmosphere, food and ambience. And of course you cannot go beyond the view, hot summers day, cool wine & lake views.

The quality of the meals were ok but nothing to write home about. Unfortunately the stand out feature of the night was an incredibly rude and arrogant male waiting staff member. He was blatently dismissive and completely inappropriately and confrontational. We had a realitively simple request which he responded to in a vary unprofessional manner and walked off refusing to address or even discuss the issue. The female waitress who also served us on the evening however did a great job and was helpful. Overall though staff here could be more friendly and pay more attention to the customers. The treatment however from the male waiter is one of the worst I have ever experienced from anywhere and coloured the whole evening. On a positive note the bar side of this venue is a great place for a few quiet drinks after work.

Approximate cost: $25.00

I have been to the Lake View several times, and each time I find that I am disappointed with the staff and the food. There is an arrogance to the staff, especially when questions are asked, and there are limited options for people who are gluten free.

Approximate cost: $25.00

The Lake View is a great place to go for a few drinks and snacks after work; particularly in the summer. There is a nice feel around the place with a view of the lake which is nice when there is water in it. They have some pretty good "happy hour" prices, particularly on beer. Their beverages range is quite good. The restaurant is ok too but not usually what I go for.

You can go to the Lake View or "viewy" for a quiet beer on a sunny afternoon or out on the gas to the nightclub, good tunes, good atmosphere most of the time, good view of the lake but dissapointing value for money with meals.

Approximate cost: $over $20

Recently went to the Views for dinner, and the 'views' on the meals were mixed. A male waiter responded rudely to a request to adjust a spotlight shining directly in our eyes. Half the table reported having enjoyed their meals, but the other half of the table were a bit disappointed.

Approximate cost: $20ish
