This was the worst service I’ve received in my life. Two and a half hours and we were still waiting for some dishes to arrive. And the food that did make it to the table was subpar.

I mean, if you’re going to charge $6.90 for mini spring rolls straight out of the supermarket freezer, at least make sure they’re not still frozen in the middle when you finally bring it to the table 45 minutes after the order is placed.

a good place for Yum Cha. love it how you can get what you want and serve, self service. the place is always pack full of people, especially on the weekend. probably need to make a booking to reserve a table.

Famous for their self-service and yumcha, I don't agree that they have the best yumcha in Brisbane (or at least, they are as good as everyone else). The self-service bar is okay, but really it is Chinese fast food. Good if you are into that, but not if you want real Chinese food.

They do have Guandong style Chinese Barbecue Chicken and Duck, but once again I see this as fast food and not quality dining.

But still, worth going there for a meal or yumcha.

The specials they have for dinner are is real good value for money. Great food and value for money. However, yum cha is a bit on the expensive side.

One of the well known place to have yum cha in Sunnybank, the place is always pack full of people, especially on the weekend. The good thing is that there are many varieties of dim sum to choose from. The down side are having to dine to a huge crowd with long waiting times at lunch time and limited spaces to move around. Otherwise, it is a good idea to try all sorts of Chinese traditional foods (e.g. chicken feet) while you are there.

I've been here for both regular yum cha and a wedding event. I have to say that I prefer the regular yum cha. The food is fresh, fast and comes out hot at yum cha but at the wedding, I guess catering for 200 people is pretty difficult to schedule timings for. Food here is typical Hong Kong style (which I like) but if you expect fabulous service, this isn't the place to get it. While the waiters are perfectly polite, they definitely don't go above and beyond. Value is probably on par with any yum cha place in Australia. If you are vegetarian, as always you will need to special order your food as if you wait for it to come around on the trolleys you will be sadly disappointed (and hungry!)

I have visited Landmark half a dozen times over the past two years. Typical of many busy Cantonese run yum cha places it is a shuffle em in and move em on in terms of service with long waits during peak times. Anyway you don't go to yum cha for the service, you go for the tea and the dim sum! Landmark does a good range of dim sum and has the vibrant atmosphere of a busy Hong Kong dim sum joint. They have trolleys of goodies coming around too which adds to the interest, but if you don't find what you want on the trolleys or can't wait you can short cut to a counter for self service. The quality of the majority of the dim sum is about as good as it gets in Brisbane. I have not tried any of the regular plated mains so can't comment on those. I did try some of the BBQ meats on one occasion and those were reasonable. Note, if you don't want to wait you can try Parkland across the other side of mains road in the Sunny Park shopping centre which is owned by the same people. Parkland tends to be less busy but also has less variety yet still offers a good standard of dim sum. I would rate Landmark above it in the quality stakes. I have found myself going to Parkland more these days because of the convenience factor.
Approx $20 to $25 for yum cha for two people.

The name may be a little pretentious, and the service may make you feel as though you're just another one of those many consumers here to eat just a few of those hundreds of dim sum... but... Landmark Restaurant is pretty reliable when it comes to Yum Cha on any given morning (or whenever it is you like to consume a dumpling). Very seafood-driven dishes, and a massive floor... great atmosphere on a Saturday morning. We always have a great time here on our visits to Brisbane.

I went to this restaurant for a friend's wedding last week! I thought the quality of the food was very delicious, the timing was quite prompt, the staff were helpful and friendly. Great atmosphere - very simple, yet, it is quite sophisticated. I enjoyed the experience

I have been to this restaurants countless times, for yum cha in the lunch time or dinner for various occassions, such as weddings, business functions etc. Their yum cha quality really fluctuates - some days are great and other times you can really tell the ingredients are just not fresh - however I do find that they do have the largest range of dim sum in Brisbane. On a positive note their dinners and banquets are always of high quality.

Great yum cha, probably the best in Brisbane. Go early during the busy times like mothers/fathers day/chinese new years to avoid waiting for over half an hour. Some days have more variety than others, a luck of the draw really.

Been to plenty of wedding receptions and along with my own wedding reception here. Bookings is minimum 20 tables and you get to choose from a few banquet menu packages.

if you haven't tried yum cha then it's time to try it and this place is the best. I have never seen a more popular restaurant, and it always has people lining up outside waiting to go inside. it has a huge eating area where the food is brought to your table on trolleys and you pick which items you want to eat, however there never seem to be enough room to cater for its popularity. Food is awesome!

Oh, well if you have tried real YUM CHA, then this would be a disappointing meal for you. Can you put more prawns in any more dishes? Can you add any more oil on to every dish? 4 of us go there for a relaxing lunch with reservation on hand, but we still have to wait for 15mins, and no body seems to interested to help you. I will not go back if I have other choices, which I have plenty in sunnybank.

As the name suggests, most people know this restaurant - the Yum Cha does taste great (it is dominated by seafood-based dishes), but make sure you take people who you are going to have a good time with - the service is abysmal and generally apathetic if you have a query or question. Apart from this downside, the ambience is always pretty intense, particularly on Saturday mornings!

Excellent food and true to original recipes from South East Asia. Just don't expect great customer service. I went there with a bunch of friends only to be treated with such arrogance: the waitress would literally throw the bowls and cups on the table! She was obviously in a foul mood. Most waitresses don't speak or understand English too. Its a great place for food, just not service.. for me, dining should have both these qualities.

Bad bad service, rude and inpatient and arrogant. Reminds me a lot about Hongkong... the food (yumcha) is not even good...

The yum cha here is average, huge waiting lines on weekends if you don't make a reservation. Daily menu isn't the cheapest in the area and they could make it taste nicer for their price. Would go their again with my family.

Approximate cost: $6 - 30

Landmark is a pretty ok place the atmosphere is always so lively and you pretty much always have a good time there. I guess it's most known for yumcha and hosting weddings which are always fun. The food isn't that great but there's always memorable times from Landmark.

pretty standard when it comes to yum cha. Food is ok, but could be better, and the level of service could be improved. otherwise, theres not exactly a lot of options for yum cha on Brisbanes southside.

Yum Cha here is excellent. They have a better variety than those in Chinatown. You do need to book or be prepared to wait. It's a busy restaurant, but offers a great experience.

Been here a few times over the years and although I've had better yum cha these guys are still pretty good. The food is hot and the service...well the same as any yum cha place. One of the better yum cha's in brisbane (the better ones I've been too are in Sydney)
