The sizes of these meals are very good and so is the quality. Such a good range on the menu. Each time I have been here, I have found the staff to be friendly. The outdoor dining is my favourite area.

While this place is not that far from where I live, I don't think I would go back. It is basically that generic Thai food that Brisbane restaurants like to serve customers. No real dishes, just let the customer choose their sauce and their meat. This is always a dead give away.

Even so, the result is just some basic Thai food that is not even presented nicely.

After hearing many good reports on this place I finally got to try it yesterday. We decided to get takeaway as we had had a big day, otherwise it looked like a nice place to eat in - very authentic looking inside with plenty of tables, inside and out. We ordered a mixed entree pack, 2 curries, 1 stir fry and a large coconut rice which came to just over $50. This might sound like expensive takeaway but the servings were very generous and packed full. Beautiful curries - couldn't fault them. They do offer BYO - not sure about corkage though. Definitely worth a visit - and within walking distance to Carseldine train station (handy for the BYO part!)

Approximate cost: $15

this place has excellent thai food and although its not like it use to be it is still one place to visit, this place is close to public transport and has a great variety of food and the service is exceptional so come and give them a try and make your comments

Lanna Thai used to be my favourite local Thai restaurant, but over the last year or so the quality doesn't seem to be 100% of what it used to be. Still reasonable though.

This is the best Thai food I have tried. John and Mali are so lovely and John's Penang Chicken is the best you will ever taste. Great value and nice atmosphere. If you like Thai food you will LOVE this restaurant.

Delicious food with a great range. Always busy which shows how popular the place is.
Lanna Thai has just moved down to the Clock tower on Beams road and there is much more parking than their previous place which is great.

This is my favorite Thai on the north side. It is inside the caravan park which sounds less than ideal but the place is very clean and very presentable and it is nice to eat in. The food is fabulous and the prices are excellent. They also do BYO with no corkage. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I particularly like the yellow chicken curry with coconut rice (yum). Only downside is that Friday and Saturday nights (eating in and takeaway) can be a little busy so it is a good idea to book ahead especially for groups or go early in the evening.

Approximate cost: $15
