Breads and cakes/pastries are baked daily (except for...wait for it... fresh croissants baked on Saturdays only so get in early!!
Now - just the thing to have with your croissant or one of those new yummy donut apple fresh cream thing-ies that Peter the Pastrychef tempts me with is a good cappuccino.
Highly recommended by not just me but also my brother up from Melbourne over easter. ps don't forget their new premises is only 200 metres from the ferry.

Situated in the same shopping complex as Foodworks, Le Bon Bakery fills a very necessary place in Macleay Island's take-away food market. The island, being bereft (thankfully) of fast food conglomerates, relies upon locally owned and operated small businesses to satisfy its residents' and visitors' taste buds.

The bakery offers a variety of hot pies and sausage rolls, together with pastries and cakes. Ice cold drinks are also sold. Outside is a pleasant shaded area for alfresco dining.

The only bakery on Macleay island! Their breads and buns are very good and they do stock gluton free stuff. They do make great crossants for Sunday breakfast!. Hopefully they will get their takeaway section open soon.

Approximate cost: $3
