I went here about 12 months ago for a friend's birthday. There wer a few of us so we sat upstairs. It was byo, but the restaurant didn't provide any glasses or any kind of cup... We all went down and got our food and they served it on metal prison-type trays. Also the cutlery was plastic!
I had the dahl, which was ok I guess. 4 of my friends had the butter chicken, which wasn't great either, and all 4 experienced diarrhoea later that night! Would not recommended this place to anyone...

The food here was pretty nice, but in comparison to other Indian cuisine places, it is not brilliant. Pricing was reasonable, but the service was unfortunately quite slow.

Food always tastes good, is convenient, close to cinema if you want a quick, easy dinner before a movie. Always busy so service can be a bit slow. Eat in or takeaway. Sometimes think the cleanliness aspect may be a bit suspect, but nothing concrete, just an impression. A bit overpriced for what it is.

I love Indian food, and this is one of my favourite places. It's convenient to grab a quick lunch if you work in the city, and you can either eat in the seated area at the restaurant or get your meal to go in a takeaway container. The food is prepared in bain maree's so it's a quick option for lunch.
quick
They meals are reasonably priced, being around $12 with rice.

The food here is quite tasty, but it doesn't offer the same value for money as other lunch options around the CBD. It is very expensive compared to the other Indian place across the road.
You can dine in or take away. I believe you get a large serve if you eat in.
While the food is nice, it's not my number one choice for Indian because I don't believe it's the best value for money.

Stopped in tonight on my way home from work for a quick takeaway curry that I could scarf down in front of the footy.

The staff were friendly, and helpful as far as they had to be, but I wouldn't call it mind-blowing excellent service (yet they were in no way rude on unhelpful).

The food was quite nice, not overcooked, undercooked or with any overpowering flavours. The place looked clean enough not so as you'd eat off the floor but it certainly doesn't strike you as grotty.

Approximate cost: $9 for a takeaway regular curry with rice
