Really love the variety of Healthy food that actually tastes AMAZING! They get extremely busy at lunch times, so be patient with the girls, who sometimes seem to be understaffed!

I ordered catering packs for an event on Valentines day. They were ready on time, fresh as could be, absolutely delicious and I am very grateful to Liveat in Eliz street for such superb service. Recommend highly. Liz

I am a regular at the Liv-eat stores in Hobart, and I honestly have not found a better place to get my lunch. The food is amazing, and I have never received bad service.

Yeah this place is great! A bit of a step up from subway. Lots of chose from and always tasty. Love the fresh juice they have available but I must admit, their cookies are not that good Lol!!

Service is pretty good as long as no one calls in sick - went in a couple of times and they were short 2 girl and it made a difference. Not a lot of room to wait around and more the place you would take your food away with you.

Nice and healthy and tasty!

I usually bring my lunch to work every day to save money in these tough economic times, but every now and then, maybe once a fortnight I like to "treat" myself and buy lunch in town. In this particular instance I decided on LiveEat, as they looked fresh and inviting, and the sanwiches looked well stuffed and healthy. The staff were absolutely fantastic, and I ordered a toasted tandoori chicken sandwich to take back to work with me. When I got back to work with my sandwich I was VERY disappointed to see that all the stuffing of the sandwich was to the front of the roll, and the inside was practically empty! As well as this, during the toasting process most of the sparse ingredients had stuck to the paper it was wrapped in and was consequently inedible. As you can imagine I was very disappointed, and ended up throwing most of it away. Such was my distress that I emailed LiveEat to advise them of my disappointing experience, taking great care to specify that the staff were fantastic and friendly, and that it was not a customer service issue at all but a product issue. I was contacted via email minutes later and offered a full refund or replacement sandwich, which I thought was fair and professional. I did take them up on the offer of a replacement sandwich, which was tasty and well stuffed this time. I WOULD go back again, and have done since, but consistency in the product does need to be attended to by management. Price wise I find $9 to exhobitant for a toasted sandwich, but the soups and salads are worth their prices.

Approximate cost: $9

This place seems to have gone down hill in the last few years. Now it's at the same level as Banjos. ...... Coffee is as average, sandwiches are expensive and not full enough (you end up with half a roll smeared with mayo).
The staff all seem pretty young, but that's no excuse for standing around talking. ..

Approximate cost: $10

Great fresh lunch option in the CBD. You can get fresh rolls made up from a large choice of salad options and meat etc.
They always have some soups during winter. My favourite is the spicy red lentil soup. Yum!

They have fresh fruit salad as well as healthy drinks and juice.

If you're after something sweet, they also have slices and cakes in small sizes so you don't overdo it.

This is a really nice place to get made up salad rolls, with a massive salad bar they can make up sandwiches or rolls to order, my favorite is the terriarki chicken with mayo and all the salads to go with it. prices i think are a little high but its all really tasty food and a great place to grab some lunch eat in or takeaway.

Approximate cost: $13

Liv-Eat has two sandwich bars in the CBD area (Collins St and one in the Elizabeth St mall).
They offer a number of tasty soups each day, and also have salads and premade paninis you can get toasted, or you can get a salad roll made up to your taste.
They also do coffees, which I'm told are good. They have a special on coffees - I think they are $2 before 11am.
