This review is for Muffin Munchies Coffee Shop, Hobart TAS

This coffee shop offers a lot more than just coffee and muffins. They freshly make muffins, bagels and soups daily on site using ingredients of the highest quality.
It's a cute little tucked away retreat in the centre of Hobart where you can relax and enjoy a nice healthy lunch or snack.
They do have a frequent shopper program on coffee.

This review is for Ispahan Podiatry, Hobart TAS

I highly recommend this podiatry clinic. The person I saw (Nathan) was very friendly and helpful and it was reasonably quick to get in to see him, which seems to be a luxury these days with health care providers!
This is one of the few practices in Hobart that make orthotics on site. Most places send them away to the mainland. The result is that the orthotics can be made quickly by the person who takes the cast of your foot, so they can reshape quickly as required.

This is a popular take away shop which offers a good range of pre-made take away dishes, such as fried rice, curry, scallop potatoes as well as the usual fried foods (chips, burgers, toasted sandwiches) etc.
They also have salad rolls made up in the fridge.
Fast friendly service and food is reasonably priced.

This review is for Paintright, Hobart TAS

This store specialises in paint and wallpaper and have some ranges that I haven't seen elsewhere, such as a Tasmanian range of paints. They also have a few display areas which show various paints and wallpapers.
They also stock Esprit interior design catalogues which I haven't seen elsewhere - they look fantastic for decorating children's bedrooms.

This review is for Fun N Fit Centre, Glenorchy TAS

verified email - 24 Oct 2009

This is basically a large indoor play area with a multi-level zone children can crawl through, slide down, climb, shoot balls, jump on the jumping castle etc. So much fun!
There is also a separate area for younger children, ie crawlers, which has a ball pit, small jumping castle and lots of other things to climb on and peek through.
There's a lot of tables and chairs for parents to sit down and have a drink from the coffee shop.
They also have some party rooms availabe for hire.
Great entertainment for a cold or rainy Hobart day.

This review is for Oomph On Barrack, Hobart TAS

verified email - 24 Oct 2009

Oomph roast their own coffee and it is of a high standard. They also have other items on their menu, and you can buy take home bags of their roasted coffee blends.
This coffee shop is inside the new centrelink buildling and is in a historic building. It's a great location and is very open. It also has heaters inside for those cold days.

This review is for Salamanca Newsagency, Hobart TAS

verified email - 24 Oct 2009

This newsagency has a good selection of magazines and always has plenty of papers. It also has a good range of Tassie books and gifts.
It also has two convenient ATMs (one inside and one outside) which can often be hard to find in the Salamanca area.

This review is for Principal Computers, Hobart TAS

Good little computer store. Staff know what they're talking about and will order anything in for you.
It is cheaper to buy things on the mainland, but staff are very helpful.
