Managed our Canberra property woefully , made unecessary and expensive repairs before getting our authorisation to spend our money , did not get back to us when we had queries or concerns. We lost complete faith in the ability of livein to manage our property effectively and also became very worried about how much money we were losing through work being done on the property at inflated costs. We eventually took over the management ourselves and found this process easier than having to manage the real estate company and constant mistakes.

I won't buy any property from the sales team. When I was shopping around for a 4 bedroom property about 4 years ago, I inspected more than 5 properties they were selling. The impression was that they were asked unreasonably high. I was often told to act quickly as they had got some offers etc, but the properties were still on market 3 or 4 weeks later.

On property management side, it was good back 3 years ago. The service quality went down. I need to ask for property inspection report almost every time. I was told that the report was sent out but did not reach me. By the way, the inspection report is a bit simple too.

I have also found that LiveIn Property has dreadful customer service, especially from their property managers. Their focus is on the owners and not on the tenants. They may say they are, but that is just lip service. When it comes down to it, they will not do the right thing by you and will actually threaten you with legal action. For what? Oh nothing they can substantiate, but still utterly unnecessary.

It's just grating to me, given I was the perfect tenant, kept the place spotless but they tried to stomp over my rights and made me have 3 property inspections in less than a year. They even sent me a letter to do a 4th one and I said NO! Is that even legal?

Their customer service is poor. Their property managers are unprofessional. And they are just provide horrendous service to their tenants. I was definitely not impressed.

I am in the market to buy a place. I shall NOT be buying any of the properties LiveIn Property markets because I know they lie. They lied about the property I used to live in - it had few of the cliams they made. And it just makes them seem less trustworthy.

I wont be using their services ever again, thats for sure!

If you want to use a good property management team, DO NOT use Livein Property. They are obnoxious!

Tegan is a completely rude and obnoxious property manager (if you can call her that). She talks over the top of you constantly and wont let you speak, is not very professional and childishly hung up the phone on me. Now this was because she couldnt negotiate a suitable time for viewing an apartment. Very poor customer service. Very poor!

It shouldnt be that difficult to negotiate a suitable time without having to resort to be being rude, unprofessional, childish and obnoxious!

I wont be using them again. For any reason and I suggest anyone else not be fooled by the fake smiles, because that's all they are - completely FAKE.

Have just placed a property for rent with this property management company. Even from the first inquiry I made, the couple who run this business were professional and consistent. There were no hidden costs and they were extrememly happy to take the time to discuss my concerns and any issues. It's a small business and from my experience, take good care of their customers. Plus the price is very reasonable.
