Care factor of zero from these guys.
They deliver the wrong product at the wrong time and in the wrong place causing more work for my workers and aggravation to my customer for me to deal with and all they have to say is "well I'm not going back and shovelling it back on the truck"
"There's nothing I can do, I have to close up and go, I've got other things to do"
They say that they are under new ownership, i can't see the business lasting long with that attitude.
Only a matter of time before they get caught doing "cashies" as well.

I had a very bad experience with another company...maybe they should send their staff to these guys to show what good service consists of!!!
My purchase was Very Small, but Brownie was kind enough to do the hard work for me...shovelling the rocks into bags.

i had a play frame installed in my yard for the kids,it included a huge sand pit and climbing frames. I knew roughly what i needed to make this play area safe. The guys at Lonsdale Sand and Metal were great. i never knew there were so many different sorts of sand. They explained that i needed "sand pit sand", which is half brickies sand and half white wash sand.They also recomended "soft fall" for underneath the play equiptment, to make sure the kids had a soft landing if they fell. They even worked out how much i needed by the size of the area to be covered. As a woman, i dont know about these things and these guys were fantastic.It worked out far cheaper than buying by the bag from the hardware store. they even organised delivery for the next day. These guys stock all your garden needs, for small right through to huge jobs.

This is not the usual business that we use for landscape supplies, but as it was the closest so we decided to use it to purchase a trailer of dolomite. They have the usual range of products. Their prices are competitive and their weighbridge is accurate. BUT THEIR SERVICE WAS EXCEPTIONAL. My husband had left his credit card. They phoned a few people with his surname and finally found his mother, who passed on his home phone number. They contacted me (within the time it took him to arrive home). Amazing! We have returned, as has our son. They are now our landscape supply business of choice.
