M dog grooming Mulgrave May Wong is and continues to use images and video for personal financial gain of my dogs to promote her business. Never has there been any authority given for her to do this. She refuses to remove images and video of our deceased young dog Lenny . She has blocked us from all contact . Incomprehensible behaviour to put us through this. the video was filmed/streamed live and is now for sale made 2 years ago , we were only alerted to this 2022, shocked to say the least. May Wong sent a text informing me our dogs were not worth her time as she could groom other types for more $$ and we were asked to 'move on'.. April 2022. A disgraceful act.

Please protect your dog! My dog was never scared of nail clippers or hairdryers. After getting grooming done at M Dog my dog now shakes uncontrollably and hides at the sound of the hairdryers or vacuum at home also get scared at the sound of nail clipping. My dog remains depressed and scared for at least 3-4 days after grooming from M Dog. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this groomer please stay away for the health and safety of your dog.

It is unacceptable to put the blame on the groomer when the owner admitted that their dog is afraid of household hairdryer. The owner has been advised to keep a regular 6 weekly grooming schedule to help the dog get used to grooming and to prevent matting. The dog always come in matted if it goes longer than 6 weeks in between appointments. It is a tedious job and uncomfortable for the dog to brush and clip off the tight matting in the hair. This will cause unpleasant experience for the dog and indirectly sending them the wrong message that grooming is not a fun experience.
We have had some good improvements when the owner keeps the suggestion of 6 weekly schedule for 2 sessions. However, theres nothing we can do when the owner prefers to only have their dog groomed every 10-12 weeks.
I'm reviewing M Dog Grooming 0 stars because of the recent experience I had with the groomer and her response over it. My little boy Walley was groomed by her last week. I wasn't happy with her service ( Walley's hair was clippered off although I asked her to shave around the belly but take half length off over the body which would leave at least 1 inch length hair all over) I was disappointed to see Walley after she groomed her. Little boy was shivering , his nails were cut off to the skin, hair was uneven, his face looked like a meerkat ( we love him though ) poor boy was depressed for 4 days now and was sleeping most of the time.
Anyway as an unhapppy client I did not want to leave my 5 star reviews on her page anymore. So I changed it to 2 stars thinking I would not take him there anymore. Next day the owner texted me

I'm not happy with the cut you did for Walley. I still wonder whether you did it or someone else who is still training. Previous times I agree he was matted and you had to go short. But this time I was so careful not to get any matts. Only place that was matted was under his belly towards the chest area which I asked you to trim short. But before I left the place in the morning we discussed how we want it done. ( shave and trim short on the chest and belly but half of the length off around the body which will leave at least 1 inches long hair around the body) anyway you had cut everywhere short except for legs. (Seems like one length machine cut) And cut is very uneven. One side of the mouth longer than the other side. Long hair here and there. He looks like a meerkat around the face!
Furthermore Walley was depressed after that day. He wasn't active for 4 days. When I checked yesterday I found out his nipples were cut. ( now I see the dried skin) sadly his nails were cut over the skin too
I'm really sad you did this to him. He is like a baby to us. I think at least from this feed back you will be more careful with every dog and keep an eye on your assistants

I still can't believe she did It. At least an apology? No but cancel my sister's appointment! Seriously I cannot believe a business person can be this UNPROFESSIONAL ! And now she has blocked my family from her Facebook page. I think that's what she does! Leave good reviews and delete bad once! At least Word of Mouth will let us show her true nature on this site!
Not recommended if you really love pets as your own family! Rude! Not pet friendly at all!
M Dog Grooming came highly recommended by a friend whose dog is always stylishly groomed and a regular customer there. After trying it out ourselves I have no hesitation in also recommending May to anyone who is looking for a groomer with exceptional technique, who is caring and understanding and always full of helpful advice. She specializes in bringing out the uniqueness & cuteness of every dog with meticulous scissoring techniques which is unlike the groomers we've experienced before, even offering coloring on request. It puts my mind at ease knowing that my dog is in good hands being supervised at all times and not locked up in a cage or being left together with dogs of various sizes while waiting to be groomed or collected. We will not be going anywhere else now that we have found M Dog Grooming!

Hi Carol. Stop going around and creating havoic due to the loss of your precious Lenny . May is a champion and world class groomer. She does not sell footage and is very professional and caring of all dogs she grooms. We have been going for years. I appreciate your grief but enough is enough. Please channel you energy into remembering Lenny in a respectful way instead of becoming an internet troll. You've gone around everywhere attacking.
