Excellent fish & chips! Take Away with a nice park across the road with tables and toilets. Beach a further 50 metres. Fresh seafood can be bought as well at competitive prices.

They really do create the best fish and chips in Aus ... and reliably good - we buy fish & chips from Maddigans every fortnight. I only have one recommendation and that is if phoning an order through - use your last name as we had our order taken once by someone with the same first name.

We decided to take a day trip to Hervey Bay and thought Fish & chips by the beach would be nice. We tried Maddigan's and found it to be a good fish & chip shop. We found the prices reasonable, the food tasty enough and the service and wait time reasonable. We would eat here again if in the area.

Amazing food, It is defiantly the best fish and chip shop in the Hervey Bay! The fish is always moist and the batter is crisp, The chips are cooked to perfection and the price is outstanding for a great meal, I highly recommend it :)
