Great tapas bar right on the esplanade. Delicious food although sometimes a bit greasy which can be a bit much. One thing - if you order say 3 tapas and your partner orders 3 - they don't seem to bring out one each eg. they might bring out 2 of one persons meals and none of the others so one person is left sitting there watching the other eat 2 meals while waiting for theirs. Also, if you are sharing tapas - check how many items per serve eg. you might have a party of 4 and order e.g. satay sticks to share but this might only have 3 sticks per serve. It is a nice experience though and well worth a try. Staff are mostly friendly and helpful.

Nice chinese restaurant with pretty average dine in experience but their takeaway menu has nice meals that are good value for money. Located across from Woolworths.

Great aquarium. They do shark feeding, fish feeding and turtle feeding. The aquarium is basically made up of a large cylindrical central tank, then a circular hallway then tanks all around the outside so when you walk through you are surrounded on both sides by fish. Then there is a starfish touch tank and a turtle touch tank, then outside there is a large turtle tank where you can feed and pat the turtles. They take much care in making sure that everyone who wants to touch or feed a turtle gets to do so. While this is one of the smaller aquariums I've been to, it is larger than I expected after reading other reviews. By the same token, being a bit smaller it had a very personal feel with ample information and I felt I got a much more up-close & personal experience than I have at other aquariums. They also offer a swim with the sharks experience for an extra charge for you adrenaline junkies out there.

Delicious meals for breakfast and lunch. Beautiful location outdoors on a balcony that overlooks the water and Fraser Island so at high tide, there is actually water underneath the balcony, it is really quite beautiful. The meals are a bit expensive but quite nice. You can get a better deal by getting a double deal meal and ticket to the Reefworld Aquarium in the same complex. Staff are very friendly and cheerful. They also do Weddings which is what the indoor part of the restaurant is reserved for and I'm guessing may be why they are not open to the public for evening meals.

Absolutely stunning views over the beach and the bay with no road in-between. Meals are consistently delicious, service outstanding and reasonable value for money. Staff are always really friendly and helpful. They also hire out water sports equipment including stand-up-paddleboards etc. At time of posting, they were doing breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. The chicken & avocado stack is amazing ;-)

Delicious big pub meals served in a timely manner and by friendly helpful staff. They don't take reservations which can be a bit of a pain but you don't generally have to wait much more than 15-20 mins for a table. Music playing most Friday & Saturday nights with plenty of oldies to youngies up on the dance floor grooving some moves.

Sometimes the meals are quite nice although a bit too expensive for what you receive. Inconsistently however, sometimes the same meal is awful, not sure if they have a lot of chef changes or why this is. Same with staff sometimes you will get cheerful happy staff members who make you feel like they and therefore you are having a great time. But sometimes staff members look like they're moping around like sad little puppies.

The meals are always really delicious, the staff are always super friendly and helpful, prices seem to be appropriate to what you receive including the good service. Breakfast lunch or dinner, small groups large groups or just a couple on date night, this place is consistently unbelievable.

Lovely little cafe and gift shop in Point Vernon. Delicious basic menu options, really friendly staff, value for money & lovely atmosphere, what more could you ask! If you do need more - you are surrounded by lovely gifts and knick knacks that are sure to please someone who has everything.

Lovely cafe with beautiful view over the water and the big pier. Delicious meals and snacks. However, went there once in casual clothes (neat & casual) and was treated like a second class citizen by more than one staff member. Haven't been back since.
