Best and most consistent coffee in Sydney, from year to year and from one Barista to another. 24 hours and open almost every day of the year.

It's a pretty random kind of place, I mean open 24/7. I wonder how much business they get at that time of the night. The coffee is consistently good over the past 4 or 5 years I've been going there. The chap who runs the place is a good lad, he'll be sure to look after you :)

Maisys is an institution on the Lower North Shore. This has always been the go to place no matter what time of day.

Maisys is open 24 hours and runs a very extensive menu including their famous hot dog, sandwiches burgers and sweets.

I love the Tuna sandwich and their milkshakes are great.

There is ample street parking and a council car park not too far at the rear of the business.

A great place to go when nothing else is open.

Approximate cost: $18

Maisys24 is the only place I know on the Lower North Shore that is open 24/7. Most restaurants and coffee shops close fairly early, so if you want to catch a meal and coffee after movies, you're stuck. But with Maisys24, you know you'll always find something on the menu. They have a fairly wide variety - ranging from snacks to meals and desserts... and, of course, their great coffee! It's usually pumping and packed, but if you're prepared to be patient, the seat turnover is fairly fast. It's a tiny little spot with a downstairs and upstairs section and some table/benches outside. The food is always good - perhaps a little more expensive than it could be (but then this is the only place open in the area after about 10pm when most others close, so I suppose you do pay a premium). Having said that, it's not horribly overpriced. I've had some tasty snacks there (and their hot chips are awesome). The service is good (quite a frenetic pace) and the staff members are friendly. Once you've been a few times, they recognise you and chat, which makes you feel comfortable. The desserts are good, too - although I'm quite fussy and prefer others I've tasted elsewhere. Great vibe and so good to have a late-night spot that isn't miles away. The prices vary from snacks to meals, so it's difficult to give one approximate cost... but check them out online at www.maisys24.com.au/food/ and you'll find a menu with prices.

Maisys opens 24 hours, 7 days a week and we love going there for late night desserts. I usually order the lemon lime tart and my husband orders the chocolate mousse cake. They have lots of drinks in their menu as well but I usually order the ice peach tea. The cakes are delicious, especially the cholocate mousse cake - it's warm when you eat it and it melts in your mouth. And they have free wifi and magazines there as well, so you can stay there longer if you wish. The staff are very friendly and I like seeing the little pulley going up and down with the trays of food going down from the kitchen upstairs.

I like that this cafe is open 24/7, its a fun place to go for a random drive to at weird hours. The cafe is pretty trendy and the menu has something to eat or drink at any hour. I enjoy coming here.

24 hours? That sounds really cool, I might need to go there at 3am and order a dinner dish just because I can.

A good little cafe off the main street of Neutral Bay. The best part of this cafe is that it opens 24/7! Yes 24/7! I have spent lots of late nights/early mornings there. Whether grabbing a bite or having a coffee with mates or curing your sweet tooth, they have things for everyone.

They have good coffee and oh their mud cakes! I only go their for mudcakes. They are to die for. YUM..

I miss the cafe. Must go next time when I am in Sydney.

Maisy's is one of the only good cafe's that I knw of that opens 24/7! If youre not feeling like a drink, Maisy's is a good cafe to just hang out at. The Chai is really good! melas are also ok, a little over priced though. Offers a comfy and cosy atmosphere

My best place for coffee and mudcake. I haven't eat lot of other food there but their mud cake is die for. The sauce is so yummy, I ask the waiter if I can have recipe for that. The chef was so kind to give me one on my next visit. Still I go back as they have the touch for that dish . And they are 24/7

Love this cafe. Maisys is open 24 hrs and has awesome coffee! We lived within walking distance for years and spent a lot of time having breakie at Maisys. Would recommend and if you haven't been there before, sit upstairs and watch the food arrive downstairs from the kitchen!

This cafe is so convenient for those late study nights where you dont feel like staying home! The food is great although a bit overpriced. The service is ok, the waiter had to repeat the order to us a few times so that he wouldnt forget i felt like giving him a pen and paper to write it down!!

OK for a cafe type meal. Good variety on the menu although it never changes. Service is average, good for being open 24 hours there is nothing else open 24 hours in the area.

Classic diner-style arrangement that's open 24 hours...and you can get breakfast 24 hours a day! (...if that's your thing). Young and friendly, it's cool.

I appreciate Maisy's because it is open 24 hours and I really think Sydney needs more of these. I would like them to be a bit friendlier and change the menu a little bit, but overall for what it is, they have reasonable food to find at 3am!

DUDE. No skim-milk-iced-coffee? How is this possible? Severely disappointed by this. And full volume FashionTV blaring from the loudspeakers of the obnoxiously large flat screen tv made it difficult to pay attention to my conversation, let alone build up an appetite for desert.
