Lovely dining area. I do not like however getting to the end of the meal with the bill to notice the $8 surcharge for sparkling water that we where not notified of. Entree was lovely, the mains where really quite small for the $36 price however.

Approximate cost: $30

Was here with a large group, the table service was good, quite fast considering, and friendly. Italian wouldn't have been my choice, but I have to say the food was excellent. Osso Bucco was tender and just about perfect, and the tiramisu was to die for!

Approximate cost: $35

I've eaten here several times because I enjoy it so much. They happily altered their menu to cater for vegetarians despite not having anything V on the menu. The food was delicious, quickly served and well worth the price. The atmosphere is really nice and waiters make sure you are comfortable.

Maldini's is located in the popular Salamanca restaurant area, and offers traditional Italian food, but with a modern twist. It has a varied menu, with a few items I'm not game to try (rabbit and quail) that set it apart from other Italian restaurants. It's more up market than many other Italian restaurants in Hobart.
I highly recommend the tiramisu for desert!
