Having traveled nearly 400,000 kms around oz over the past 16 years and rated their vanilla slices in the top 3, we are disappointed to find the flavour slightly lacking and non genuine icing now used on top.
Added to this is the plastic container that has replaced the more environmentally friendly cardboard carry box.

Their scrolls and muffins are soggy and tasteless and even those few on offer are sold out by 10am. I wish, the owners from 10 years ago came back.

We went to Mallacoota bakery on Saturday 29 September and spent just $15 but later realised we had handed over 2 x $50 notes that had been folded together , the young girl serving said nothing and only gave us chance from $50!!! Very dishonest - karma will come her way!!!!
Most expensive sausage rolls we have ever had - not worth $65 - had never been to this town before and probably won't go back.

The delicious smells emanating from this shop were too good to resist. Being a pie connoisseur, I naturally had to have a pie. Good decision. The pie was very weighty and as it turned out there was no way I could have eaten another, Good value for $4. The choices here were tremendous, but there is only so much you can eat at one time, the girls are very courteous and helpful. Very tasty experience

If you ever visit Mallacoota you have to go to this bakery! They open and close early and sell out pretty fast because everything they sell is so yum and the service is fast and friendly! We were camping nearby and got up every morning to try their chocolate croissants which were huge. The biggest lamingtons I've ever seen and of course the breads, rolls and pastries are also delicious. They sell a good coffee and usually close early in the afternoon as they are small and the locals buy up what they have very quickly,get in early!
