Food is great here but be prepared to get in a long queue to wait for a table. On Fri, Sat and Sun, you can feel quite rushed to eat your meal quick and clear the table for the next customer...BUT if you want an authentic Malaysian Hawker / Mamak Stall feed, this is the place for you. Pretty pricey for the type of service and setting, food is served very quick and in whatever order it can come out in, no such thing as entrees first, etc....Overall a great place for a no frills Malaysian hawker/mamak meal

Best Malaysian Cuisine in the town. Favourite menu are roti canai and nasi lemak. The ice kacang is not as Ginger and Spice's restaurant but still not too bad compares to any other Malaysian restaurant or cafe.

The newly extended premises is much more spacious and comfortable.The food is quite good especially the roti canai which is very authentic.The price is a bit steep but the service is very good.The waiters and waitresses work very fast.We left with a full stomach and satisfied.

Visit this place and it will remind you of the food you get from hawker stalls in Malaysia or Singapore. The quality of the roti and murtabak are great - crispy and fluffy on the outside and melt in the mouth on the inside. All roti and murtabaks are made fresh and you can watch the guy making them from the front of the shop. Satays are also really good - not dried out and with a peanut sauce that gently blends in with the jucyness of the beef or chicken. Mee Goreng is also good, but not as spicy as you'd expect and the Ice Kachang for desert tops off a great meal at a reasonable price. Serving size is average to small, so you may need to order a few dishes to satisfy your hunger, however that means you can try more things instead of being stuck with a single dish for the night! Beware that there is a queue EVERY evening outside this place and if you're in a hurry get there early. When we queued up at 5pm and got to the door when the place opened, we were the last ones to get a seat! (The queue went down the street and around the corner!). This place is typical of a place that concentrates on the food, not the decor and setting which is is average.The atmosphere is busy, the waiters/waitresses on the go all the time and the chefs running full on to fill orders fast.

Fantastic food, definitely some different and delicious flavours, and a good place to try Malaysian if you haven't before (friends from there say it's pretty authentic). I haven't experienced a line-up before - try it for a late breakfast/early lunch. It's always busy with happy people though. Yum!

been there when i visited Sydney. I expected a lot judging from the long queue. However i was dissapointed with the service and the food. although not that bad, the chicken curry did not really up to my expectation of authentic Malaysian dish.

My restaurant of choice when in the city! Always busy with a line out the door, but definitely worth the wait! Try any of their roti dishes, or the mee goreng - spicy delights! Great for the homesick Malaysian, or those who love Malaysian cheap eats!
