Overrated.
A group of 8 of us ate here so we had a wide variety of dishes. None were stand out, none were bad, they were all mediocre. Opinion is harsher due to high expectations BUT I have had nicer Malaysian food in the “suburbs”. The roti which is meant to be “amazing”, was ordinary, again, have had much better.

The service was non-existent and when they did come to us, obliging but not very friendly. Prices were reasonable for the dishes, with the exception of the roti dishes, way over priced.
Décor is nice but it is a very noisy restaurant. We had a baby crying at a table about 10m from us for most of the night, we hardly heard it though due to all the other noise.

I would not go back and would not recommend. Yes I have been to Malaysia, yes I have eaten Malaysian many times.

Approximate cost: $14

My favorite place to visit whenever I am in Sydney. Imagine how happy I was when I found out that Mamak was coming to Melbourne. Went there few days after their opening and the line was crazy long. Was desperate to eat the roti canai so we lined up for more than 45 minutes. It was well worth the wait though, the roti was delicious. Also had sambal kangkong and kari kambing with rice.

Well i went to this restaurant for the first time and i am quite impressed by the quality that they offering...

Also, Me and my friend shared mee goreng ... it was so tasty ..

I recommended for those who are searching for Malaysian hawker style food.
