Manee Siam

Manee Siam are a lovely family business ,great meals good prices fresh produce always great friendly staff and are very humble people .We have been going there for 18 years .We drive from Golden Grove and go there at least once a month and than walk across the road to the Capri Theatre to support them as well . manee siam is around the corner from us and we went there on my boyfriend's recommendation.

I don't love curry but this place does such fragrant, mild curry (extra mild if you ask for it!) that I was tempted to try it. I think next time I'll go for the noodles but I can say that their curry doesn't disappoint! if you are a connoisseur, you'll find yourself returning again and again; their red, green and other (forgotten the name!!) curries are all totally amazing.

The coconut juice is spectacular too.

We ate there for the first time after remembering to book - it often books out. The atmosphere is great, because of the layout of the building. The staff are friendly and courteous, but the waiter was a little less formal than she might have been and did not go out of her way to make us comfortable. The food was tasty and the portion sized were good, and I've tried some Thai restaurants in Adelaide that I was really not impressed with at all. It was cheaper than would be expected in the CBD.

This place always seems to be packed out. It's a small restaurant, so that's not hard to achieve!
But at the same time, they are nice and traditional and it's like a home cooked meal... just not at your home!
