Roof leak repair: Very, very dodgy. Warning - misleading charges and nebulous billing! Their ’service call’ of $120 includes ONLY driving to your place (in my case from Surrey Hills to Kew East) and NO time (unlike other tradies where the service call usually includes approx. 30 minutes of time). They bill from when they have parked (not when they arrive at your door, not the same) and charge $25 for every 15 minutes. What they should say is that their absolute minimum charge is $145 (including 15 minutes work) for one plumber. I received a bill for $538 for fixing a leak, approximately $230 higher than I had anticipated based on the initial phone call and quote. The invoice only gives you a few lines and is not itemised. Judging by the fluent rudeness, continuous talking over and attempts at gaslighting by the owner when I called him querying the invoice, he has a lot of experience with these calls. In summary, expect to deal with unpleasant staff and double what you think you will pay.

Wonderful service. Manly Plumbing have never let me down. I've had them fulfill a range of plumbing jobs - drain blockages, installing hot water systems, finding and fixing burst pipes, unexplained water leakages, even replacing tap washers (Chris just automatically replaces tap washers while he's working out what needs to be done!). They're reliable, honest, skilled. Their pricing is extremely reasonable and well suited to people who need work down around the home. They also try to make job choices simple and affordable. Can't recommend highly enough. Chris Manly is completely professional in his approach, manner and business behaviour.

Terrible service. Told me i had to wait a week for service, which I did. They then called on the day after 1pm, when due at 1pm saying someone had called in sick. Terribly rude on phone, didn't offer to reschedule or amything. would not recommend to anyone given how many other good services around
