Yummy hot chocolate and pastry snacks. Staff saw that I was with my dogs and came out to me so that I could order my takeaway cuppa. Very friendly and fast service. The following day I returned to pick up a takeaway pizza and the staff remembered me and were once again very cheerful to interact with. The pizza was full of toppings and the base was thin and crisp - it is nice to not have to fill up on a thick pizza base. I am looking forward to returning and trying out some more of their menu items.

Earlier this week I had a meal at the newly renovated and upgraded Manto Café. I was delighted with the new décor, classical and very welcoming, a big difference to the shabby chic of yesterday (and year!). No more wandering down for a quick coffee in my gardening clothes and expecting to fit in!
The menu appeared nowhere near as extensive, but it concentrated on quality and there was definitely something for everyone. The food was great, serves generous, and the pricing no more expensive than before, and it was reasonable then. The service was cooperative and attentive, without being overbearing, very pleasing. I'll be back!

I love this place . They have such good cooks. The food is delicious and always fresh. There's outdoors seating which is perfect becuz my dogs can come along! I had the vegetarian pasta which was rich in ingredients unlike the usual vegetarian dishes! However the meals are a bit pricey!! Would come here again for a special occasion only, due to the price!

My wife and I went to Manto before a movie at Norwood Hoyts. We enjoyed our affogato, cappuccino and gelati. The decor I think could do with some updating but the overall quality and service is very good.

Hadnt been here for a while and unfortunately its one of the few places those who like choice visit once a year in the hope the menu will offer more and inspire. Also the night we went there was a guitarist/vocalist who was a little loud for our liking seeing as we were seated next to him. Otherwise, the pasta is fresh and pretty tasty. Average food and service dependant on your expectations. The lunch menu looks pretty good. Prices about the same as everyone else in the area.

Great local cafe. Had a pizza here with the two young children and when I ordered a pizza with chilli and pepperoni they asked if I wanted the chilli removed and salami instead of pepperoni (which I did). Very good quality, lots of topping, very tasty and served quickly (thank god, cos the kids were ratty!).

Great food, clean environment and fantastic service.
Reasonable priced menu with indoor and outdoor dining. Great place to relax with friends on the parade. One negative is the menu has changed from what it was in the past.

We love Manto Cafe at Norwood. It's one of our regular haunts and meeting places for friends. The locations is great and the food is good quality cafe food, with an accent on Italian cuisine, including pizzas, bruschetta, risotto, etc. The service is consistently very good and quick. The staff are very friendly and most accommodating. Highly recommended as a place to take friends or family for a casual breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I used to love this place but I think it has deteriorated somewhat in recent years. The servings appear smaller and the service is far less inspiring. Still good, but no longer the fantastic place I could rely on.

This used to be one of my favourites years ago. I went there the other night for dinner, and while it was nice... we didn't think it was fantastic. I had the Gamberi Risotto which didn't quite have enough flavour, my husband ordered a seafood pasta which he thought was nice, but nothing compared to Fontana Di Trevi. Will perhaps try something different next time.

Manto Cafe is located down the Parade, Norwood, and is definitely a cafe worth visiting if you're hungry for a bite to eat. I hadn't been there for a while, until last week when my partner and I dropped in for lunch. My partner ordered the Zingara pizza, and I ordered the Raffinata pizza - although he said the Zingara was delicious, he actually preferred mine, which is unusual because it was vegetarian! They're a little bit expensive, but well worth it, and the service was excellent - staff were friendly and food was prepared and delivered quick.
