Incredible!! Absolutely amazing experience at this restaurant. Was for a special occasion & we were not disappointed. Every mouthful of everything we got was out of this world. Highly recommend

my partner took me hto mason's when they first opened and i loved it! very fancy place to eat without the snobby feeling you get sometimes when you are in a really fine dining restaurant. the food was amazing and the staff were so good and friendly! we had an amazing nice, great atmosphere!

I have eaten here several times, both as part of a couple and a part of a group. Each time the service has been fantastic, and our waiter/waitress very knowledgeable and personable. The meals are on the pricey side compared to many of the local restaurants, but the quality and the preference for using local products makes it worth every cent. The creme caramel is one of the best I have ever eaten.

This was our second time dining at Masons, and sadly we found that the standards did not live up to our expectations based on our previous visit. The batter on the crispy flathead tails was disappointingly thick and heavy. The hand cut potato chips also seemed smaller (individually and as a whole portion) and were a little overcooked. However the steak was the saving grace here, cooked very well and perfectly juicy.

Service was slow at times and rushed at others - though there seemed to be enough floor staff they looked rather confused and did not seem to have a purpose to their movements. One of the girls also appeared extremely sullen and unresponsive to the point of rudeness.

The decor is new and modern looking with black chairs and has great ambiance.

Our orders were taken and the meals were then prepared and served to the table quite quickly. The prices were really affordable considering the quality of the dishes, although the serving sizes were a little on the modest side considering they are designed to be shared. They place a lot of emphasis on the fact that they use fresh local produce in their meals.

As Mason's got busier it also got a lot noisier to the point that it became difficult to have a conversation with the people sitting at the end of our table. Also, because it is a relatively new restaurant that seems to be getting busier and busier, you will need to make a booking.
