I have been twice, and on both occasions the ladies have been quite rude to me, but polite to older customers. I have never seen any of the staff even smile.
The coffee was revolting and made too cool. The food is boring, so I settled on a muffin which tasted stale.

This seems to be a cafe for elderly people. The menu is stuck in the early nineties, as is the decor. The coffee is fine, but nothing special. The thing that put me off was the boss constantly criticizing her staff (quite loudly). I don't think I'll be back.

I had coffee at mazbah this morning, and while the coffee was good, it's far too expensive and there's not much smiling or welcoming attitude from the staff. The gentleman that works there barely acknowledged us, and the coffees were $4, not really worth it.

Approximate cost: $4

Thats a shame, especially for $4

This popular café is in the upper level of Centrepoint. The service is very fast and food is delicious.

The other day we ordered 2 soups and they were bought out within about 2 mins with some delicious bread. The menu has a lot of variety and is competitively priced ($8.50 for soup with bread)

They don't take bookings so it's first in best dressed!

Convenient when shopping at Centrepoint, coffee always smells wonderful but never quite tastes up to expectations. Cakes and desserts always tempt me, I keep going back, am never disappointed by the cakes but always by the coffee.

This busy little cafe is located in the upper level of Centrepoint, near Chickenfeed.
It has recently been renovated and offers a nice relaxing atmosphere.
My favourite reason for going here is the fantastic selection of cakes they have, particularly their lemon meringue pie.

Consistent and great coffees, their mochas and hot chocolates are made with a fantastic syrup that means they are probably the best in Hobart. The lunches and brekkies are great - soup is always a excellent choice
