Up to Murray Bridge for a visit and on the way back to Adelaide, noticed this bakery. And good thing we did stop!
They have very good pastry around their pies and pasties and the fillings themselves are very good.
Only little niggle is the 'chilli kranksky' pie offering uses a cheese kranksky and chilli flakes instead of an actual chilli kranksky

Have been here a couple of times for some pies, they have a large assortment of both sweet and savoury items which are sure to get your tastebuds going. Our boys have informed us that their donuts are particularly good. Very friendly staff.

Mccues Bakery is brilliant, they make everything fresh and include their own inventions in the mix. Namely the Savoury Slice. Would recommend this bakery for any lunch.

I love going to McCues Bakery. The selections are fabulous and taste even better. I always over buy when I go there but my taste buds are in absolute heaven. The girls are lovely and i always go out of the Bakery happier than when I went in. Cakes for birthdays or occassions are a great treat. A worthwhile experience.

This is a great, clean and bright bakery. The staff who work here are always friendly. They have a large range of products from pies and pasties, to drinks and cakes. I personally don't go out of my way to come here, as I'd much prefer something that doesn't feel like it comes from a production line, in terms of quality. They do however do amazing cakes for birthdays / anniversaries.

Great location on the main road through Murray Bridge. The savoury slices are to die for, delicious! Everything baked fresh on premises in a family run business.
Staff are friendly, can get quite busy around lunch time so best to get in early to avoid disappointment.
A few tables and chairs to sit at, or you can always get takeaway and sit down the river.

Approximate cost: $6.00

A really nice selection of pies and pasties and tasty pastries, made by this family-owned business.
Service is usually prompt, it can get busy (always a good sign, though), and staff are polite.
There is a nice little dining area with several tables, where you can sit and eat lunch or whatever, if you dont want to take it away.

I like supporting local business and it helps when they have great products. The bakery is well set out and a nice quite spot to eat. They have a great range of goods and in my opinion the best donuts in town. There is always plenty of staff and their prices are reasonable. Good value for money no frills food.

Approximate cost: $5
